During the Holiday season GameStop is extending its return window. Items purchased after 10/31/2021 can be returned until 1/15/2022 or 30 days from purchase date, whichever is longer.

 

Anyone knows if Gamestop has an extended holiday return period like Best Buy or is it still 2 weeks for used games and whatnot?

Is the Series S bad? I'm playing on 1080p on an Xbox One S, now.

I had an X preorder last year and canceled it like a chump, and I just got bored and grabbed a Series S from Best Buy.

I don't think it's bad; it is a great value at $299, cheapest next gen device at the moment.  For me the lack of a disc drive is the problem.  I have most of software in disc format.  If you are new to the platform and intend to buy everything digitally anyway it seems like a good buy.  

You realize you are paying $840 vs $499, right?  Seems shady that only the all access versions are available.  

 

 

Best Buy has Series S and X available with All Access and store pickup. I got an X for pickup Saturday, and I'll just pay it off when my first bill comes.

No luck with the walmart process.  I refuse to pay BB and Walmart for their BS "service" plans just to buy things at full retail price.  

I can't believe they are unable to create a block on the bots for their site.  Just register xbox owners to a list like sony?

I wonder how may invites they send out vs stock on hand?  This seems like a great idea and program but they executed it very poorly.  What is the point of telling me I get an invite and made the cut, then I click the link during the window to be disappointed that they sold out already?  Either send out invites for the number of consoles; or don't bother with this program!

If the put a disc drive in the S they probably would increase the demand for that device.  I suspect many people that like that lower price point need a disc drive to play their existing games.

It's crazy that last gen is still $249. They really should be $199 or $149 bundles. I expect to see a ton of these left on the shelves unless someone drops the price a bunch for BF.

Lol every time I buy a new game I have buyers remorse until I actually pop the game in and play it. I currently have over 200 games (no joke no lie) in my backlog right now too steaming from Dreamcast to PS4. I was under the impression from what I read on here from other members that you can only use the GCU and receive the pre-order credit if you buy at the brick and mortar store. That is why I asked my initial question in this very thread of the other perks associated with this membership. Now if anyone can provide a link or point me in the right direction that states this 20% GCU discount can be applied to Bestbuy.com as well that would be most helpful. Thanks to Cochese for supplying the link with the $10 online pre-order credit so now I am aware of that fact. But if anyone could provide something stating that this GCU could be used online too then I would join GCU on the 25th as well. As that would be a great deal to have the free shipping with the 20% discount and $10-$20 pre-order credits linked to Best Buy's GCU membership even if you have to pay tax. If you can do this online and have it shipped for free then I am all over this then.

Cleaned out my local target. Finally used up the last of my credit from last years a Gen 1 iPad bonanza.

Really? A good price on a game and you buy every copy? This isn't slick deals.

Wow I really wanted this but any price over $100 is a joke. There is no way they will sell enough of these at $150.

Nice prices. Hopefully this means price drops for all these first releases for PS4 and Xbox 1.

You would have to get a new hard drive. Also, the E model doesn't use the same A/V port as the last models did. It has an HDMI port, and then a separate port that looks like a 3.5mm port that the standard composite cables plug in to. I don't think they have released component cables that are compatible with the E model. So it's either HDMI or composite.

You don't need a new hard drive. Just buy the generic case for the new Xbox and remove your old drive from the Microsoft Case and put it in the new case. I think the case was $6.

I'm not sure I like the idea of them planning to do a lot of reprints. This plan is great for everyone that wants to play games but it will terrible for game collectors.
