#12478664 The "Stay Classy, Republicans" Super Nintendo Chalmers Thread

Posted by egofed on 07 February 2015 - 02:33 PM

I agree with Senator Tillis. Handwashing regulations are hurting small businesses. If someone gets sick from eating food touched by penis-touchinghands, the market will take care of that, by having people not go there anymore when they hear this rumor.

You do realize that he was making a point that certain things are common sense and wasting gov't time and resources on ineffective enforcement (a sign) is ridiculous. My sarcasm meter might be off today though....I do find it funny that some people want to have gov't regulate the hell out of people conducting business and paying taxes, but totally abhor the idea that gov't regulate in any way the behavior of the throngs of moochers who are contributing basically zilch in income tax and are costing us way over 6 billion a month in handouts.

And you didn't disappoint.;-) I like the idiotic statements about hating kids. You presume and assume too much, bro. I choose not to have kids because I like to be able to surf whenever it's good..... and so I can retire way early. Kids are expensive if you are a decent parent. I would never want to take other people's earnings to provide for my own responsibility.
Doh, since Mutt won't answer my immigration question, maybe you will. Should we grant amnesty and have porous borders while not having adequate jobs for the people already here?
Ps: what is a Moran?

You're goal was to draw on racist stereotypes and caricatures.

It is hilarious how Doh always knows a stranger's goal or intent  , but not the difference between "your" and "you're".

Why did the new guy get banned?

Getting back on topic, so forensic evidence and multiple black eyewitnesses corroborate  Wilson's story. Seems like justice was served in this case.

#12337978 Obamacare architect calls Americans too stupid?

Posted by egofed on 18 December 2014 - 04:09 AM

Simple enough so as to be a statement that nobody can reasonably disagree with, correct. :)

Obama urging Congress to get a bill on his desk or he'll take EA dates back to at least the middle of this year (6 months is not very long in the modern political era, but it's ample time to get a bill done if Congress is serious). He's making good on his promise, which is more than I can say for Congress (who has paid lip service for years (decades?) to getting immigration reform done, but done nothing of the sort). Obama has also made it crystal clear, time and time again, that the moment he gets a bill on his desk from Congress, he'll sign it and it will supercede the EA he's preparing.

So I suppose it comes down to who you think is bluffing. Congressional Republicans have made HUGE political gains from obstructing governance the last few years - they do nothing, Obama and Democrats take the heat, and they regain power. If you think that's going to change before 2016 - egofed, I have not been around in awhile, I know you're smarter than that. Republicans can't do anything about immigration because (a) doing so will alienate the nonwhite base they desperately need to attract to remain relevant in the coming decades and (b) will placate the rabble-rousing white masses (what's to be outraged about anymore).

Immigration reform is one of the Republicans' wheelhouse carrots to dangle in front of voters to get them to polls. That they've done nothing thus far (when they sure could have in the mid-Bush administration, when they could have under Clinton circa the 1994 Newt Gingrich Contract With America) says volumes to me.

Trusting Republicans with immigration is trusting Lucy will hold the football for Charlie Brown this time.

Why don't we just enforce the laws that are already passed? There is a legal path to citizenship already. There is a substantial waiting list. Why reward criminals with a cut in line? Do you feel we should secure the border?

The immigration Executive Action ensures that the "undocumented workers" are not confined by the Obamacare rules. This makes them highly desirable for hiring as they do not require insurance coverage. Way to make American workers less likely to get a job. Unintended consequences of gov't meddling and incompetence strike again.

#12248731 Oil Prices continue to drop.... along with republicans/right wing IQs ?

Posted by egofed on 18 November 2014 - 05:52 AM

Apparently all the Obama left wing tree hugging EPA enforcing minions have hurt the energy industry so much that they are having a fire sale on their products before going out of business...

In case your IQ is that of a republican that was a sarcastic joke

You know after the numerous sky is falling fear mongering the repukes and right wing have continue to push about Obama and liberals, you think people would come to their senses.

Yet stupidity continue to be the major selling and approved method of being a republican and right winger.

Republican/right wing is a mindset and fad meant to sell to the dumb and gullible

Here's a good quote

" Only bad people lie about good people, to make them look good "

What is your primary language? It amuses me to see somebody label a whole group as stupid and speak of low intelligence/IQ while ignoring quite a few rules of grammar and punctuation. :wall:

So you guys are cool with the gov't saying one thing and doing another, and basically admitting to "fudging" the facts as long as the agenda gets passed? Do only the Democrats escape your vitriol when conducting business this way? Hey! Kool-Aid! Oh yeah! :D/ Obama promised transparency.....

#12168076 Gun Homicide rates

Posted by egofed on 18 October 2014 - 02:28 AM

One of the reasons the Obama administration is giving for not instituting an African travel ban is that people would find ways to circumvent it and still enter the country...any parallels that can be drawn to this gun regulation topic?

#11934633 The Middle East ... Who's making thing worst Israel or Palestine

Posted by egofed on 18 July 2014 - 12:51 PM

How can you support Hamas? They are firing rockets into a civilian population. I do find the way Israel was founded as unjust, but what nation has a clean history? Israel has every right to defend itself as a currently established nation against tunneling and rocket attacks. Hasn't Hamas spoken openly about destroying Israel and driving every Jew into the sea? Hmmmm, why wouldn't the UN support them? I am against the expansion of borders and any blockade of the Palestinian people. They need to police themselves and realize that Hamas will bring down Israel's wrath if it continues its current strategies. Peaceful people must sometime rise up and punish the violent among them to have continued peace.

Israel is surrounded by enemies in an ancient area with too many people and too much religious significance. It is fun to watch Americans and other countries not in that situation judge them. For all the atheist and agnostic posters, check out how prophecy in Revelations is aligning throughout the years. Is the temple fully rebuilt yet?

#11934615 They Should Just Make Being Poor and a CheapAss a Crime Already

I don't think anyone here supports corporate welfare. I do like how some liberals bitch against it then congratulate the gov't for "saving" GM with the bailout...... . I wonder if any of the settlement money GM pays to victim's families will be taxpayer money? ;)

#11918383 A Humanitarian Crisis at Our Borders or ShaqFu Obama for Being Lenient

Posted by egofed on 13 July 2014 - 02:36 AM

Didn't Congress try to pass a "Secure the Border" bill but Democrats refused unless immigration reform was included? Why not secure the border first, THEN reassess our immigration policy? I saw someone propose that we take the money Obama wants to deal with this particular incursion out of foreign aid instead of adding new debt. Sounds reasonable, huh?

#11918369 Obama Care Could Be Deadly

Posted by egofed on 13 July 2014 - 02:32 AM

Medicaid is dependent on the state government, and a good deal of the states in an effort to be total Fuck ers to their citizens, decided to not take the federal money to fund it. Tennessee had that lottery if you can recall up to two years back. Look at how that's working great! If people in those states still depend on free clinics and those clinics are being overburdened, you tell me how Medicaid is working in that particular area.

Private companies have to follow at least some kind of standard, as put by the Affordable Care Act and older laws. State governments can Fuck you up because of political reasons.

I think most of the states turned down the expansion because of the future expenditures that were required by it under the ACA law. Realizing that an already bankrupt gov't probably can't make good on its part of the deal is a good thing. You do know that we run $4.1 billion over budget EVERYDAY?!? Right?

#11912287 They Should Just Make Being Poor and a CheapAss a Crime Already

Posted by egofed on 11 July 2014 - 03:52 AM

This morning I read the story about a white  family with a few kids who, after the collapse, still drives around in a 2003 Mercedes Benz, and has to depend on Food Stamps. The family earns about $25K now, and the car was paid for before their life turned to sour. But all the trolls could focus on was that why didn't they just sell the car for a clunker. Turns out the car needs very little maintenance, and since it is 11 years old can't possibly be worth the same as when the husband bought it.  One person pointed out that the family were lucky to still have such a resilient car, when they could've taken a bigger risk with whatever clunker they could've gotten on their current budget, thus costing the family even more money they now couldn't afford.

When I finished that story, I was reminded of the woman who was practically on top of the world at some big bank company she worked for, in charge of all those people who sends people notices for debts that should've expired after the statute of limitations, and now she lives in Florida off her ex-Marine dad with her children.

"But we don't, because we are hypocrites. If you are living directly within your means, you are the exception. It is far more likely that your car is more than you can afford, so is your house, so are your clothes, and so is your grocery bill. You have no sense of real job security, and it could all go to pot in a heartbeat, and if it did, through the fog of depression, worry, and uncertainty about your future, you too might hold onto the one nice thing you had left, and that choice might even be laced with a little optimism that it was a symbol of better times still to come."

I guess I am the exception, so I get to make judgments against welfare recipients having cable, hi speed internet, $100/month IPhone plans, and nicer cars than I drive on the tax payer's dime. My 2014 Ford Focus is paid for, I could pay off my $94,000 mortgage if the tax deduction wasn't worth it, I have 0 credit card or other outstanding debt, I have no TV plan, I have straighttalk $45/month unlimited phone/text service, and I have saved over $175,000 while only making $43,000 per year(not counting my day trading profits). This is accomplished without even living that frugally. I date  a lot (EVEN PAYING FOR MY OWN CONDOMS!!!) and take a couple surf trips a year. Luxury items, ESPECIALLY monthly subscriptions,  are not for people who should be trying to better their positions. You have no right to anybody else's money. I wish we would generate even more shame and stigma for those on welfare, some incentive to make them strive to save and do better. Everybody wants everything without working for it these days.....
