How am I supposed to use my $5 monthly certificate if GameStop does shut down? Are they going to allow us to use it online

Speculation on if prices will go up? If so, 2k10 had Kobe on the cover and from what I see, 2k16 was the last one to have him the roster.
He's on the cover of 2k17's Legend Edition. Includes a Kobe poster, trading cards, and lenticular cover.

You wouldn't take a free Smash even if you weren't going to play it? You could trade it back into GS since their cash values are currently the same as trade credit and get $30 for nothing.
I care because I don't like publishers rereleasing years-old titles on new platforms for almost the cost of a new game. Witcher 3 is like $6 on PS4 or Xbox, but $50 on Nintendo. Even Todd Howard said people should stop buying Skyrim if they don't want the game to keep getting rereleased. People say they want cross-platform support, but then keep buying the same game on different platforms, all but ensuring that it'll never happen.
I think there have been old Resident Evil games ported to new platforms for $20. That's fine. Or when Valkyria Chronicles was ported to PC at that price, it became a bestseller on Steam. That's great. But the same game for full price is ridiculous. Publishers only get away with it because consumers allow it.
Let people enjoy things, man. Not everyone owns every console.

I'm so stoked that GTA V is on Game Pass! I've never played a Grand Theft Auto game before and everything I've read and heard about this game is that it's the best in the series so I'll have to move it up my backlog for sure.
I can say that getting back to it so many years later, GTA V is still stunning for the world it creates and the amount of sheer detail that goes into it. The map is huge and actually feels like a living and breathing city. You can easily spend hours and hours and hours just exploring without really scratching the surface of the missions.
You're in for a treat.

Less work, less chance to get scammed, guaranteed money, blah blah promos.
I don't trade games in at Gamestop. I trade him on sites like gametz or sell them locally. Gamestop always wants to give you barely anything for a game. I remember a game they would take for $5 that I sold on offerup for $25. All these posts about trading in games there don't make sense to me. It's different pricing online and in person? I live in Southern California so games trade in/get sold higher here? I have Super Smash Bros for 3DS that I have on offerup. Gamestop will give me $8.80 for it. It's going for $20-25 on offerup. What's so great about getting less money for your games?

I have a dilemma, I own Lego Avengers and Lego Marvel Super Heroes but not the 2nd one. I see it’s 5.99 but it’s just the base game. What website can I see the DLC price history? I know the bundle of all 3 has been $20 before...
All time low looks to be this.

Comes with the territory. Don’t flip games, don’t get called out for flipping games. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯.
So I just had this incident happen to me today and I am wondering what kind of advice you guys can give:
I went into GS to buy 2 sets of 4/$20 (only 8 games that were all different as I have been trying to fly under the radar at this store for a while). Unfortunately, when I went to check out, only the store manager (known Junior Detective that has had it out for me for a while) was helping customers so he had to ring me up. After looking for the discs, he sets aside 5 out of the 8 and only brings 3 to the register. He tells me he cannot sell me the other 5 games because he looked on my account and saw that I had bought them from a different store. To be fair I did buy 4 out of those 5 from a different store a couple days ago and I know they can check your past purchases (from what others here have reported). I tried to argue with him about why I can't buy the same games (how can this even be a reason especially during this time of the year!) and he calls me out for trading them back in. At this point I just left since I didn't know what else to say. Here's the thing, my account has been pretty clean for months and any boomerang trades from this current promo are not on my account. I would love to fill out a complaint against this guy with a survey but I do not know if it will just bring further negative consequences. In the past when I complained one time and left a negative survey, they looked into my account and then banned me I think for a period of time after seeing that I bought multiple games and traded them in (this was years ago). I just think that this whole situation is absurd. In the past they have given me a hard time at this store about buying 2 copies but to flat out just refuse to sell games to a customer is a new level of crazy. I am on the fence about just keeping quiet about it or filling out a negative survey to get this guy hopefully in some trouble. What do you all think? I feel like I have a strong case to present to the district manager or whoever would take action but if they look too deep into my account they will probably find boomerangs, etc that would support the store manager's claims against me.
Sorry for the long rant, feeling a bit emotional about it and I was looking for some outside advice and opinions. Thanks.
