the game itself is excellent but the PlayStation port is nothing but slow load times. if it's seriously your only way to play it then go for it, otherwise the original or the DS version are far superior.

Prices like this are the reason I'm still on the PS360 gen. My backlog will last a good two years before I run out of games I haven't had time for.

No, liking Uncharted 3 is a symptom of objectively awful taste. You are wrong. If it HAD been more Uncharted 2 it would have been perfect. But it wasn't. It was the charmless straight to video sequel of Uncharted 2. The phone-it-in Hollywood nonsense sequel. The Mummy Returns where Rick O'Connell is suddenly a Medjai all ALONG even when that makes absolutely no sense considering how he knew nothing about it back in Mummy 1.

 

Uncharted 3 is a fine game apart from the usual problems of Uncharted's enthusiastic embrace of regenerating health and all the weaknesses therein (standard to the series.) but the plot was atrocious and threadbare. And if you think that's how Uncharted is supposed to be I HATE YOU SO DAMN MUCH.

I didn't hate it that much but it sure was a weak follow-up to UC2. The second game was nonstop action and story, I couldn't put it down. UC3's pacing was really ruined by the hallucination and dream sequences, along with the flashbacks. It's still a better game than most of the shit people pay $60 for, but it was a disappointment after UC2.

Surprised GS wants vanilla Destiny traded in. When TTK comes out it's virtually obsolete. Kinda glad I gameshared a digital copy so as not to have a useless disc.

Pretty bummed at the lack of additional PS+ discounts lately. I see a game I'm interested in is on sale, and scroll down to see what the additional discount is with PS+, only to find there isn't one. It was one of the main reasons I considered PS+ such a good value for so long.

If it has to run in Wii mode it only supports Wii controllers, so no Pro support for CC games.

I just did a post play without much problem, and it upped me to an even 700 coins. When I cash in I'll have a zero balance and a new 3DS game.

I actually enjoyed the portable entries more because they were shorter. The console games are a bit too long for me as action titles, but 5-6 hours feels just right for God of War (I realize many people may feel the exact opposite).

personally, I will always choose physical simply because you cant ever buy them otherwise. Any VC game you could pick up on a whim with a few bucks. 

this is why I'm glad they offer both so people who want swag can get it. i personally am becoming more anti-materialist as i get older and don't want a bunch of swag or collectibles i have to store but don't really use. for the same reason, digital games have a certain appeal to me.

I feel the 3DS version if the definitive version of the game. Sure you might rather use a N64 controller or something a bit more comfortable but I feel the updated graphics and such more than make up for it.

I agree, I loved SF64 and was pleasantly surprised by the facelift on the 3DS. It's a way better remaster/port than OoT/Majora, IMO, at least graphically, and the portable format works really well for playing a level at a time and then putting it to sleep. Very arcade-ish, whereas the original game couldn't save progress between levels. Worth having/playing, and the physical copies have become harder to find.

That would be most logical right? Wrong. Nintendo doesn't deal with logic, they push whatever agenda they want and tell you deal with it. I bought Smash 64 and Mario party 2 to play on my wii u, since you can play it on the Wii with the gamecube controllers. Turns out I can't play it on the wii u with the GC controllers. Makes perfect sense right.

You would also think voicechat and a very good online service, like xbox live or psn is worth it right? Not according to nintendo, well give you miis and drawings.

as obnoxious as it may be, they made it explicitly clear the GameCube adapter only worked with Smash Brothers, only homebrew people have got it working with other titles.

$80 for $100 with the promo is a net total of $65. Not bad!

Nintendo may regret their (official) limit of 32GBs for supported SD cards if they keep pushing full retail digital games this way. I know you can trick it into using a 64GB card if you format it correctly but the average consumer probably doesn't know that. I'm definitely going to have to upgrade after all this CN stuff is done.
