In Topic: Mass Effect 3 CE (PS3) in stock at Amazon

My guess these are from canceled reserves

That's what I thought as well - well that and people whose credit authorizations failed and were never addressed. Great for anyone wanting one I suppose, but I doubt this will be rare. I did jump on it as well though. :D

In Topic: Deus Ex HR CE Guide (Futurepress) 13.85 GBP at Zavvi or $35 at Amazon

If anyone is getting this through Amazon, please use their lower-price feedback to let them know about Zavvi's price! Hopefully they'll match it or set it even lower.

In Topic: Monado: Beginning of the World / Xenoblade (Wii) Pre-Order @ amazon ($59.99)

I don't know a ton about Nintendo and how they work. But why don't NoA and Reggie want this to be released here? They just think they'll spend more money translating it and releasing it than they would make in actual sales? Or is there something else preventing it?

Pretty much that. Despite generating all of this hype for the game, develop a random game aimed at the casual audience and you'll probably see more than twice the sales of this game.

In Topic: Buy 2 Get 1 for $1 on all used games @ GoHastings

To those wondering about how GoHastings does shipping: It can be pretty shitty at times.

100% of the time (for me at least) you can't view your order on the main site via an account, but it usually works if you type in the Order Number and your zip code.

Around 30% of the time they won't send you a tracking number, or the USPS/UPS link for the tracking number they DO provide will show up with nothing. In these cases, it means they DID ship you your order. It will get to you, likely in no more than 5 business days from when you received the shipping confirmation e-mail.

As always there's the chance that it will be canceled due to their shitty inventory system. You will receive cancellation e-mails around the same time you would receive a shipping confirmation e-mail.

Then there are a couple other things that may happen. They may send you a tracking number for USPS standard, which may take over 7 business days (Which is downright ridiculous for $2.28 shipping per item), or it may be USPS First-Class (Has only happened to me for PS3 games, strangely enough) in which case it could be as little as 3 business days for delivery, or 1-2 from when you receive the shipping confirmation email.

Sorry if that isn't clear enough.

I usually go to "Order History" and check my order from there. There's always an invoice available I can check (for me anyways). But the status isn't too helpful as there are no tracking numbers given, only whether it's processing/fulfilled - though as you said, they e-mail the numbers. Maybe I'm just lucky but out of my 4 orders from them, none were canceled and I received tracking numbers through e-mail each time. The USPS' tracking system though, that's another story.

Yep, one cancellation for Dark Cloud 2.
