I picked up Parappa the Rapper (psp), innocent life: a futrustic harvest moon (psp), syphon filter: dark mirror (psp) and a few others a couple weeks ago. selection seems to vary heavily between stores, but I always check in when I'm nearby.

The Super Wal-Mart near me had a few PSTVs in stock. I got the last controller bundle they had, as well as one stand-alone package. That was $50 total for two PSTVs. (as well as the controller and memory card in the bundle) Good deal.

. And they activated the vouchers again too. Sidenote: anyone want to trade a Sly Cooper voucher for any other voucher?

I played the hell out of Akiba's Trip, and while it does have some technical flaws, I still had a blast playing it. It reminds me of an otaku's Yakuza. I really enjoyed it.

As for Senran Kagura, it's a pretty fun beat 'em up but the fan service can be a bit much for some. AFAIK the game was never released as a standard edition so the Let's Get Physical edition may be the only way to buy it physically aside from second-hand.

Hmm... I might have to check out a Yakuza game then. And I guess I'm getting the special edition for SK then. I don't really want to buy it digitally. My 16GB card is almost full already.

This has been a bad season for me for PvP and don't think I even placed in the top 100 for any of the events but my token pulls made up for those.  PvE got a big boost but all I got was handful of covers that I won't be able to put in my rotation for a while.

Oh I got you now.  If thats the case I wouldnt put Nick Fury as a 4*. I mean he's ok but its not even the right one at that.  Having that nick fury in there is like saying we need Maria Hill as a 3* in the game too.

But yeah a 4* should be a God level character.  Wolvering gets a 4* for popularity just on general principal though.

Invisible woman, elektra, and star lord should never have been a "legendary" character when there are people like Thanos and the ones you mentioned in the Marvel universe.  Having said that Falcon should be a 2* and our new Squirrel girl should be that or lower.

Hah definitely.

I am fine having 3*s be a gambit... also I would like to see Gambit haha. But yeah 1-3 stars alright whatever you can mix and max but 4* should be reserved as the top of the top. And I agree with you on that Nick but regardless I always just picture him as his old standard 90s gruff old Nick Fury...

But really we all know who the true FIVE star should be... the only true Nick Fury.

got  345 coins now should earn 100 for  top 20    and  250 for top 2  team.    be around 700 coins. 500 for slot and 200 to start saving for a new slot.

From what I know of Koju, he usually picks a time with around a 16 hour end time (I think).  Usually he shield hops and does well enough to get in the top 10 at least.  His method involves heavy grinding as I believe he likes to get 1k points per PvP.

Actually, I don't do that as often as I used to. Now, the only time I do it is if I want the 1100 progression. I haven't done it since the rise of 4hor and the shield change, either, so I'm not sure I could even get to 1100 without spending a decent chunk of HP and planning on playing with the higher scorers (read: not getting top placement).

Lately, my strategy is to start a little after three hours to go. I can typically get to 700 in my initial push with very little incoming attacks. At 700 I make the call what to do next - hold because I have a commanding lead or will get the placement I want, or push further and see how far I can get before I need to shield. Then I make a call about 30 minutes until the end what my plan needs to be - usually it's queuing up about 100 points in opponents, and figuring out if I'm going to unshield or not.

This usually gets me top five if I want it, and first place every so often.

Note: this strategy only works if you have a 3* or better speed team and are willing to spend on boosts. X-Force is fast, especially when you have green/black 50% damage and +3 AP. If I need to make some final attacks against a 249/270/270 team, I'll also spring for a +2 all color boost, as that means only one match for a green attack and a set up for black. While other characters are great (like Steve and Panther), being able to get off attacks fast with very little drawback is what is required in the final minutes of this kind of play.

You also need to decide ahead of time if you are willing to buy health packs. Sometimes you just get a bad board that can ruin your plans. Knowing ahead of time whether that means to stop or not can avoid losing points because you're indecisive. It has been a while since I've bought health packs, but I'm generally willing if the prize is desirable.

This technique works for me, usually gets me at least top 100. I found last night that picking a 3 am end time helps immensely. Anyways I made 441 points & ended up 18 in my bracket. Thunder started around the same time last night & got top 50 with over 300 points. Unsure if people didn't want doom, they were focused on the PvE, or it was late; but it def was easier working that last hour than normal. When you start a bracket with no points & youre already ranked 27, you know this are gonna work out.

Didn't get quite as lucky but I did still manage to get to #53 with 8 minutes of playing. With this reward and my progression reward my Doom will be at 5/4/1 and yeah it is weird that now all of a sudden we are finally getting all of these blues when for a year it was so elusive! Like we said, now to just sit and wait another year for more Purple ; P

CAGvengers ended at like 2500 haha it was terrible. Since you all left at once noone is staying because they see we arent even close to a full alliance and then dips. Oh well. My minimal effort still scored me two Luke Cage covers... and the kicker was I ended up putting in about an hour and a half of gameplay with the event and still got ~#30 overall!! Mwahaha

Hahah Clearly I should not be in a high scoring Alliance anymore with my tactics : PP

I assume Luke is powered up in this Hulk event, what other 3 stars are boosted? I have a good chunk of ISO and I am trying to figure out who to give it to. I probably will just pump it back into Colossus as I have been if I don't need to level up any of the boosted ones.

The good news is, both alliance got the same 50hp and some iso pocket change.  Add in a few more randoms, and Cagvengers will be at least top500 in no time.

Powered up for Hulk:  Luke, Pun, R&G, OBW, Johnny, 2Cap

when should you stop buying  spots. im up to 34 and still  dont have enough room

IMHO, never. This game is designed to reward a deep roster.

I currently have 51 roster spots, with at least one cover of every 3* or better character. I have two 1* characters still on my roster, and most of the 2* roster (I think I'm only missing Daken, Moonstone and Bullseye, intentionally). Every new character, I buy a slot for that character once I earn them. Slot 52 will cost me 650 HP for whoever comes after Power Man, but I currently have 7420 in reserve, so I should be able to keep up with a two per month release schedule.

So, I'm a believer in buying slots over dropping characters, but that's just my style.

Anyways this game has now come down to how you want to play and who you want to keep.  Once you get X-force you wont use 2* wolverine at all & rarely use patch, should you keep them? Your call.

The only advice I would have is that if they ever run a Heroic again (please, I hope not), you are going to want those 2* versions of better characters. Every so often Astonishing gets to play when he's boosted, but it's usually when my PvE A, B, C and D squads are healing up.

This last Simulator reminded me why Patch is useful - true healing versus the countdown X-Force has. I might start using him as part of my climb team for the first 300 points or so in a PvP.

I assume Luke is powered up in this Hulk event, what other 3 stars are boosted? I have a good chunk of ISO and I am trying to figure out who to give it to. I probably will just pump it back into Colossus as I have been if I don't need to level up any of the boosted ones.

Luke Cage, Punisher, Rocket/Groot, OBW, 2* Torch and 2* Cap. You can find out for an event you haven't joined yet by looking at the rewards and hitting the Event Rules button in the lower left.

Also, next PvP dropped - Avengers boosted to earn Luke Cage covers.

Played the original one and Forza 5. Is there much of a story line? What about online play?

Story line is that you're in a car racing tournament. I honestly haven't done much online, but there appears to be a lot of stuff to do online and offline. It's not really anything like Forza 5, it's much more arcadey. Think Burnout, but without the focus on crashing.
