I have collected well over 150 physical Vita games not counting digital games and right now I am at this point where anything else that comes out just doesn't grab my attention. I just want to enjoy my Vita games now.

Not surprised, actually the system lasted a lot longer than I thought. Personally I don't feel so bummed out by this news because I am still siting on over 100 physical games not including digital that I haven't even touched. So I plan on gaming on the Vita for a couple more years even after the curtain falls on what I personally consider the greatest handheld I have ever owned.

SUPER DISAPPOINTED! SquEnix has launched the official R1 wesite for Secret of Mana, Vita version to be digital only, aaaaargh!
That sucks, this would have been a day 1 purchase for a physical copy but for digital only titles I can wait for it to go on sale for $10 or less. I am personally at that stage now were digital releases of games hold no real value for me.

At this point, you can't even buy the system new in the US anymore. So for a developer like Drink Box to put it on the Vita really makes no sense. Hell, the 3DS would be a better way to go over the Vita at this pont, as that system has a pretty big installed base.
For anyone who spends years making a game, I'm sure all want the best return possible on their investment. And considering they didn't even offer a physical version for the Vita, which was just free money. Tells me they are done on the system, and have moved on.
You would think just for the kicks of it Drink Box would just have a goodbye so long to Vita by selling a physical release of their Vita releases. I picked up a 3DS XL thinking I would dive deep into their library but other than replaying half way through Zelda Ocarina I just put it down and never touched it again.

The console itself is pretty much dead in the US. All of the retailers that liquidated systems off did that a while back. Same for PSTV. If you need to hunt down a system the best deals will be random stuff through ebay, craigslist, gamestop, and pawn shops. You might get a good deal some other way but this is seriously YMMV at this point. The only really good deals left will be randomly for games but even there, most major brick&mortar retailers (other than GS) have liquidated off their games and don't stock new ones in stores.
Is it weird we haven't had this big liquidation of PS Vita like we did with the PSP, it just seemed like retailers just never fully stocked themselves on merchandise like they did in the past. I was at a couple retro conventions and any vendors selling PS Vita are already price hiking the games. I think Vita games are going to sky rocket faster than any other consoles in the past.

What's the general success rate on used Vita games from GameStop having cases? The stock of Odin Sphere seems to have dried up everywhere, but they're still in stock online at GS. Considering rolling the dice to see if I can score a CiB copy.
Get it you can always return it to the store.
