Didn't even need background to know they're an awful journalist. They let personal bias of how they wanted the game to be influence their review and they even put it in writing. Comparing it to NMS is fine, but knocking the game for not having seemless planet to space travel is not the fault of the game and was never promised (oh how I could tear NMS apart for promises. . .). Maybe your personal experience with marriage was bad, but study after study over the years has shown that men in a healthy marriage tend to live longer, have less risk of heart disease, are happier in retirement, have more sex, earn more money, and many other positives things on health and well being. Obviously on a personal level, its going to be a case by case basis, but I think the statistics have shown that men benefit from marriage on large scale studies.

I picked up the $10 tier of the Capcom Bundle. I already have Strider, but since I have two Steam accounts (one for me and one for my kids), this won't be a problem. I also received a $7/month for three months Choice offer. For me, to be honest, the May Choice Bundle isn't worth $7.

Since Epic's Unreal games are leaving GOG soon on December 23rd (Friday), 2 PM UTC....

Is Humble involved in GWG now? 

Yep, our mortgage payment went up $600/month(!!!) last year to cover this. That was rough. Then they realized they way overestimated and we just got a big chunk back. Payment is now back to just a little over what it was. Crazy.

Tell them to send you the interest they made on the the money you shouldn't had sent to them in the first place.

The one thing this is better at then GPU is that you can sub for a year at a time and get it cheaper per month. Sure, you can find better pricing by doing the Gold then upgrade trick. But at least Sony is officially offering a small(ish) deal. 

Has anyone sold a One X for cash lately, any recommendations? Friend of mine trying to offload one but his traveling options are limited due to badly busted leg.

I see them going for around $300 - $350 on craigslist here in the Detroit area.

I was finally able to purchase a Series X at Best Buy. It won't be ready to pick up until Sunday the 2nd. But I am really happy about it.

Just when I thought that the bundle can't get any worse, they prove me wrong. 

Prime has definitely gotten some really, really cool stuff, but I haven't kept track of it on a month-by-month basis because Prime Gaming is not a deciding factor for me on whether I keep by Amazon Prime membership. The games are truly free-free for me. Some months they'll have just a ton of ported arcade games or old point-and-click (not even remasters) that definitely wouldn't fly with people on Humble, but whatever it is I'm never complaining on Prime.

 

Between Prime, Epic, and just general giveaways, the one thing about Humble Bundles recently is that quite a lot the games I've been interested in from Humble Bundles have ended up free on one of those other platforms before I've ever gotten around to playing them.

 

Remember when everyone was pissed about Control standard edition being in the March 2021 bundle? Well, in the following months Control Standard has been free on Epic, and this month Amazon Prime gave away GOG keys for Control Ultimate.

Thanks to all of the freebies, I rarely buy games anymore. I'm sure this is really hurting the selections being offered by Humble. Although I did buy the $1 tier for the Sonic bundle.

I look forward to picking it up in a fanatical bundle 6-9 months from now.
