#14518075 Nintendo eShop Deals and Discussions

I swear I had like two group of friends -- the PC people who didn't like Golden Eye and played Doom/Quake, and the rest that liked Golden Eye.

Shame your friend groups were so divided. My group friends were the Quake/Doom guys that loved to play Goldeneye with people that didn’t have or like PCs.

I woke up a touch late concerned I might have missed a good deal. That was not the case.

#14413825 GameStop: Glitch to trigger 30% off on pre-owned

Posted by tornjaw on 02 August 2021 - 06:53 PM

First time posting a ‘deal’ so forgive me if I do something wrong.

The promotion:

Buy select new titles $29.99+ and get get 30% off 1 pre-owned title… etc.

If you add Deadly Premonition 2: A Blessing in Disguise - Switch (normally $32.97), currently on sale for $17.99, to your cart it will trigger the 30% off a PO title.

I’ve tried games other than DP2 that are normally $29.99 but are on sale and they didn’t work but that’s not to say I missed one.

I noticed that Toby: The secret mine is on sale for $1.99(usually $11.99). Now, I have never played it but it looks like Inside and Limbo and both of those games are awesome so I have to think this game is worth $1.99.

I did a review on the game several months back, outside of some of the visuals and basic puzzles, TTSM is a pale imitation of those games. If you’re buying it comparing it to those games, I wouldn’t bother. But in a vacuum it’s not completely terrible.
