I finally opened and set up my Series X today. After life with Xbox One, this thing is lightning fast! I brought over some of my old games on an external drive, but I'm trying to decide which Series X enhanced game to start with. I've had a physical copy of Cyberpunk for over a year that I bought when it was $10, but I'm looking for suggestions since I've heard that game sucks even with the enhancement.
Cyberpunk is fine now, just not the 11 out of 10 it was hyped up to be. It's probably one of the better looking games on the system, but I would recommend staying in performance mode as the ray tracing doesn't do much while tanking the FPS.
As far as harnessing the power of next-gen to look great, I think Doom Eternal and Fortnite are both up high on the list. Meaning high detail in their respective art styles with great performance, and a lot of technical bells and whistles.
The recent Resident Evil games all look pretty good, and Ubisoft has updated most of their games to run 4K/60 or close to it. Hitman looks pretty good.

Reminder that, with the spring ahead, date night disappointments start an hour later.
I've got full pulls of the marketplace running. About half of the items on the marketplace have end dates in 9998, which I guess means there are no sales set for them at present. In the lists below, I've generally sifted out things beyond 2030.
Not processing prices yet, still trying to figure out what everything means and how to parse it properly. For example, Guardians of the Galaxy has 5 price entries. Two show the half off Gold price, two show the regular Game Pass discount and the other has the regular price. The full price can be identified, but I'm not sure yet how to identify from the data what the other prices represent without already knowing it's DwG and on Game Pass. All 5 end dates are set for early Tuesday morning, so it may return to full price before it leaves Game Pass. Or the sale price may be extended until it leaves, can't tell with what's in the page data.
First 2 sections below are countdowns for the next couple date nights. Titles in cyan are on Game Pass. Some things are already on sale, like the PGA 2K23 bundles and Sims 4 DLCs. Not sure if something in the page data shows why.
Nothing else is really counting down for a date night. Some stuff is far into the future (first party stuff in 2799), but aside from that it's just a couple Redfall SKUs set for its launch. Wonder if that means a batch for the 27th will show up at some point in the next couple days.

The odd times for the Ori games in my last post were an out of cycle sale which MS hasn't included in their sale post. Don't know what that might mean for ones with odd times. Wo Long and its bundles are scheduled for Friday, maybe a free play weekend? Odd to have a free play weekend for something that's on Game Pass, but I guess there are still enough Gold only folks out there since 3 of the 4 free play games for this past weekend are on Game Pass, so already available to those with GPU. Or it's just more MS cluelessness.

Alright, here is the racing gear I splurged on. Set it up at my parents house this weekend and there's nothing better than seeing my 90 year old grandfather smile ear to ear while playing. He loves cars and I've always tried to get him into racing games, but controllers are a bit too complicated. Putting him behind a wheel was awesome!

Enough with the trans rights. I don't agree with the opinion of J.K. Rowling. I also don't care what the CAGcast's stance is on the matter.
Literally, a minority of a minority group trying to force its way into everyone else's everyday problems in my opinion.
We don't need a third Cagcast episode with a segment on the issue. If there is, I'm going to so buy Hogwart's Legacy even though I have never even read any of the Harry Potter books or watched any of the Harry Potter movies.
Trans people aren't doing anything but trying to live normal lives like everybody else, but the GOP has created a culture war around stripping them of their rights with the hopes of one day making it illegal for them to exist and encouraging them to be killed. If you don't think they deserve the right to be themselves and live peacefully, then you have issues. Trans rights are human rights.
I don't know why Cheapy keeps bringing up some random tweets Wombat made several weeks ago just to troll him and then just keeps talking for way too long as he makes a big mess of the whatever he was hoping to accomplish with it. For as much as Cheapy tried to say or imply that Wombat's insufferable about it, he should just move on since two of you aren't interested in saying anything substantial about any part of the topic. You're just making things worse by dragging it out.

So Guardians of the Galaxy is a legit fantastic game, but just a heads up that there is a possible glitched achievement. One of the achievement's is use Groot's ultimate ability 10 times and my achievement tracker has it stuck at 90% despite numerous times and attempts using it to try and get it to unlock. True Achievements also has people who have the same problem, but on the other hand other's have gotten it to unlock so just slight warning.

I see they're using that AAAAA Plumber phone book strategy.
Continuing my Mass Effect 1 360 achievement cleanup. The best part of replaying these games is using the renegade option at every opportunity. Some of the responses are hilarious.
Even on a full paragon playthrough, there is always 1 renegade choice that has to be done. It is the decision that answers the question "What do we do to reporters?"
