Got my free Merida and Stitch toy box game disks in the mail today. I had filled out the form day 1. Came quick, really surprised.

Has anybody had any luck looking for the "harder to find" figures at Gamestop since they started trade-ins? Anybody have any idea what they charge for the pre-owned figures? I am usually repulsed by Gamestop and try to avoid it if I can, but I may swallow my pride this one time if I can find a Syndrome for a reasonable price.
When I went in and traded a few doubles I had when they first started the mgr told me they were not selling them used in store. They were sending them back to the warehouse. Maybe they are clearing them and will send out preowned when they get sufficient stock? Not sure, seemed strange but who knows. Maybe sell them online only? They use to do the same thing with PS3's. Had to send them to the warehouse to get formatted.

Did you guy notice the PC shop on the download page? They are selling the mini game disks that comes with the starter set. $9.99 each or $17.99 for the set.
The playsets are there too. They are $25 each but Im guessing they are all digital? No physical figures?

So he was going to sell it to his employees, but just decided to give it to some random stranger instead?
Nope, he would have gave it to one of the employees but no one there has the game. Gamestop Mgrs are not supposed to sell things they get as gifts (most do anyway) and if they are caught they are fired around here anyway. I wasn't comfortable chancing his job so he was going to give it to the first person that bought Infinity stuff yesterday, which was me, lol

Walked into my local Gamestop to trade a few of my double Skylander figures and pick up a few booster packs. The store manager saw me and said hey I got something you might want and showed me a Hulk in the package. My first thought was he got it out of a collectors or that Gamestop sent one to help get preorders. He told me that every manager got on today and he didn't have the game and no one in the store did so he couldn't sell it so I could just have it. I was blown away. Glad I went in there today, lol.

Im guessing that the Toy Box digital download will be pretty much just like buying the starter set without a disk right? I would buy the download for $20 even with buying the starter set just to not have to swap game disks all the time.

I asked a friend if he had any NES games he wanted to sell me. Right away he said he'd give me Mario/Duck hunt for free because he has so many copies.
Has anyone had any luck getting this cart to work? I know duck hunt is not an option without the gun peripheral working on hdtvs. I'm just wondering if Mario would work. I remember people saying they were having problems with multigame carts working. I think someone mentioned something about that Sega 6-pack not working correctly because it couldn't to the main menu to pick a game.
Mine worked fine.

^ well I obviously don't have all the sweet "connections" that you do but common sense tells me that they took more preorders for black then gray. I'm sure smaller stores, that might only be carrying one sku would lean towards black too since that is an infinitely more popular color for electronics. Because of this Retron most likely was stretched thin on their black inventory and is why Amazon hasn't had their allotment fulfilled yet. I have no doubt that we have CAGs, like myself, who put in orders for both on day one. Had amazon gotten even a small shipment some of these would have estimated shipment updates by now so either they're delayed in transit or they won't get them until the second wave.
All Im saying is I would take the word of a man who works for the company and help load them over an Amazon CS rep in a office god knows how far from the warehouse where they arrived. They could have arrived at the same time but have not been processed yet. But everyone getting so bent out of shape because they haven't got an email that the black console is going to arrive on the 6th yet. I have had mine bought and paid for since Sept, almost 9 months to the day but I'm not fussing. I am expecting people with pitch forks and torches before long though. Everyone take a deep breath, its almost here.

Got my copy of MLB 14 PS4 and Borderlands 2 Vita today. That's the fastest I've ever received something from them - only 7 days from when I purchased.
