In related to XCloud news, Facebook Gaming isn’t allowed to have games on ios either and Facebook is not happy:

Between Facebook Gaming, XCloud and Stadia, I would think Apple will eventually get pressured to allow its customers to access there services.

Agreed. Apple is being anti-competitive. If YouTube, Spotify, Hulu, Netflix, and other streaming services are allowed, they have no grounds.

$100 Xbox codes are ~17% off on Raise.com with code GEEK.

extra 5% off today using the code GEEK

https://www.raise.com/shop/GEEK

they dropped eShop to 5% off before discount... it was the usual 6-8% off yesterday so clearly they artificially dropped them to make this sale not quite as good

PSN & XBL are the same as yesterday before the sale, I wonder why Raise only manipulates the prices for eShop cards?

I don't think Raise manipulates the prices for eShop cards unless they are the seller behind the codes. I sold a Starbucks card on Raise and set the discount myself.

Just went to trade in a few games the manager asked me if I wanted to preorder anything with the extra game credit I told him I was going to save it for the PS5 he said that his store is putting down 100$ on a lightsaber so when preorders get announced he'll just roll it over to the preorder of the ps5 I told him yes I asked him if I had credit left over if I could set aside a "lightsaber" that would be for an Xbox and he said yes so with what was left over I put down 150$ for each system. Is anybody's stores near them doing something like this?

Clever way for them to get to count your preorder money as revenue now but I wouldn’t go for that. What if the store suddenly closes and then you end up getting two plastic lightsabers this holiday season.

Didn’t matter because my store didn’t have either of the games in stock...

Yeah 3 of my 4 nearby stores didn’t have Mario. I called each to check and one told me yes...but it’s opened. Ha! At least she told me.
