Found the new (I assume since I have not seen one before) Pac-Man/Galaga anniversary cab at a couple Wal-Marts over the weekend. It is pretty much my ideal cab but three bills is a tough sell for me. I am more on board at a buck and a half for this thing. Anyone more familiar with 1Ups expect pricing on this thing to drop or a sale?
Not any time soon, they just came out. And it seems they are doing better with inventory. My store only got one Pac-Man and it sold days ago without being restocked.
The units I expect to go on clearance soon are MK, Marvel, and maybe the Turtles.

I think I may finally bite on getting a cabinet to mod. I see a Pacman near me for $50 but am worried about it being a vertical screen layout. I also see an Asteroids one for $1 supposedly.
Sounds like you're assuming Brickseek or the Walmart ap have accurate inventory...they don't. I'd get my hands on the cab first then worry about modding.

Found a hidden side lighthouse for $30 at Walmart today, which also had the hidden side high school marked down to $75, I already have that one though
Thanks dude. I was at Walmart and didn't even notice the price changes on the Hidden Sides. Picked up the Lighthouse since it was the only one left, but I passed on the school set hoping they'll survive until another drop since there were three. Brickseek also showed some stores around me that put the bus on clearance too if you guys didn't find one the first time they went on clearance.

Got a new Lego catalog in the mail yesterday and learned about the Dodge Charger Technic for the first time.....and find it sold out after heading to lego.com, bummer the free blue hot rod would’ve made it a instant purchase.
My Walmart got it in stock this month...and it never gets Technic sets. Might be worth checking if you're really itching for it.
I told myself to wait for it to go on clearance this xmas, but I doubt there will even be summer clearance with current inventory levels at Target and Walmart.

I haven't been watching Lego masters. Have I been making a huge mistake?
When my son and I watched the first episode we recognized some of the contestants from Brickfair which is the Lego convention that comes here once a year. We've watched all of them since. We don't like the reality TV crap, but really enjoy the building part. It's definitely worth a watch if you like Lego. You can watch it free on the Fox TV ap.

Side point: Don't know how everyone else's target is, but the ones around me don't even price the assortment of games they have that aren't new releases. They throw them on a side rack and literally make you take them to the scanner one by one just to find out the price. That's unacceptable.
Easier to find the gems when they aren't shelved and tagged for any and all to see.

Our New Year's Eve builds. My son built his Falcon over a couple of days but saved the last piece for midnight last night.
Maybe I'm just old school, but I really don't like using my phone as a controller for Lego vehicles. I want real, physical sticks and buttons!
Thinking about adding lights to the Falcon. There's light kits for the truck too, but I think the wiring would interfere with its actual driving abilities.
