While looking through their site for their darned customer service number(which they must have removed again), I decided to check my order status, and while it still is "awaiting currier pickup," I now have an estimated deliver of Jan 9th on their Narvar site..

Too bad my darned Christmas decoration didn't make it sooner, but there is next year...

Got some PSN space bucks for the holiday. Guess I can relent and buy Beat Saber for full price since it’s not out of my pocket. It hurts a bit though.

At least the price seems consistent, I think I bought Harmonix Music VR at full price last year since it never went back on sale(no price drops since Oct 2017 according to PS Deals), until suddenly this year in September/November it went on sale.

That is one thing I like about Steam, most of the sales are consistent and somewhat reliable.

Anyone else having shipping issues? Gamestop tracking says Fedex delivered but they never showed and I definitely never got a delivery.

Lots of people are, GS and Fedex has been having BIG issues since November.

For example mine is still stuck in Bellmead, Texas at "Awaiting carrier pickup" for 30 days now.  Next week I'll bother with calling GS's customer service since they are NOT answering their site's contact form "what is my package status" section...

Does Gamestop ever answer their "Contact Us" form or is it a complete waste of time?  I still have a package "awaiting carrier pickup" since 11/28 :(

I tried two times, last week and this, like others say they are not answering.

They did seem to send out a useless email about shipping issues in general:

A letter from our CEO regarding holiday shipping & shopping

With only a few shopping days left until Christmas Day, GameStop, like many retailers, is experiencing unexpected shipping delays for some online orders due to the all-time high volumes.

Our teams are working around the clock to ensure your order arrives on time. However, to help you avoid any delays, I’d like to remind you of the many convenient ways you can shop GameStop to receive your gaming, entertainment and pop culture gifts on time.

Through our Shop in Easy Mode capabilities, we’ve enhanced gamestop.com and the GameStop mobile app to provide you a safe and contactless shopping environment. These convenient platforms allow you to purchase your items from your store of choice, then take advantage of our Delivery@Door, Buy Online Pick Up In Store or Same Day Delivery services to make sure you receive your items the same day you purchase them. Power to the Players,

So nothing helpful about orders that are stuck on "waiting pickup" from mostly Fedex for several days/weeks....

In Topic: Best option & advice for buying Xbox OG & 360?

Get a later model of Xbox Classic so you don't have to cut out the clock capacitor..

Yikes, now there is something to worry about with my other "classic" consoles....  But it is something I'll google later.

Funny enough, the one console I remember replacing the battery without any hassle was my Wii U.   Shame the thing has Wi-Fi issues like others, but at least a USB Ethernet dongle works even if the powered hub isn't convent.

As for where you can find these, it's the luck of the draw. Try ShopGoodwill, Mercari, eBay, and brick and mortar thrifts. Garage sales might help too, but it's past garage sale season in the northern states.

Yeah I figured, too bad the local used game/cd/dvd/etc chain Dimple closed, I'd trust getting a used system from them 1st...
