LOL, they're 75% off, just do some math. You can also see the regular price right now in the store. Once you click on the game the sale price comes up.

Yeah, that's probably the case. Just saying I find it perpetually annoying that there's this shroud of secrecy around some of their sales. Steam shows you when something's 90% off because they know that it will make all the compulsive fence sitters buy it so why not just make it clear.

Weird that Trine 2, Rock of Ages and Retro City Rampage aren't showing as "Purchased" for me when I see them in the Save $ section like other PSN games I already own, though I've already grabbed them through PS Plus Freebies or sale purchases. They still won't let me add them to my cart, so on some level they know I already own them.  Still it's a weird glitch.

Have both Trine 2 and the expansion on PC and haven't launched it other than to get the Steam cards yet I'm still almost certainly buying it. Seriously, I need to stop buying games. The hundreds of hours that these Atlus games are going to offer alone will last me for years if I just played them.

I've had that happen with PS+ games and sale items before. At least it doesn't let you purchase it again.

I have Trine 2 on steam as well but not the dlc and I am the same as you, I haven't played the game either. I'm going to grab the PS3 version since the price is just right, it also comes with a platinum trophy which is nice.

 
Argh. I wish that Silent Hill expansion pack for Vita was on sale, too. Just noticed it. May have to get that $4.99 pack... just because I saw it, lol.

If by people you mean the one person who says it is impossible to get past the first fight, that never happened to me. I haven't encountered any bugs and the PSN copy is the one I own.

The main screens aren't but the prices are updated. I had to search for Alice for $4 and Oddworld (the ps+ freebie this week).

 
Any opinions on the Silent Hill game for Vita? I know it's very different from the other Silent Hill games but that's about all I know.

but i recently posted about R&C FFA disc benefits...  I've got the vita version, but Deadlocked is still showing full price in the store.  How do i get that?  Do i need to play the game or anything?

Think you had to BUY the game by a certain date from PSN, or played the physical version. It was released as an apology to those who bought early since the VITA version took about half a year to finally release.

EDIT: My bad. bought it for $9 awhile age. Enjoyed FFA. have not played Deadlocked.

Not sure if this will help you but here's Insomniac's official instructions on how to download it: http://www.insomniacgames.com/deadlocked-hd-available-now-instructions-on-how-to-download/ If that's not working I would contact customer service.

If you own the game on disc and select Disc Benefits from the PS3 XMB, you unlock both games.  At least I did.

I was surprised, with the HD update and having zero expectations, it really wasn't as terrible as I imagined.  Still the worst game in the franchise (until FFA, that is), but certainly a fun little diversion

yea, disc benefits unlocked the vita game for me, but not Deadlocked. Guess i need to contact sony. Darn, i hate dealing with customer service.

 
I have to say, Yggdra Union - PSP - $2.49 was one of those games that I just couldn't put down back then.  And at $2.49, it is absolutely worth the purchase.

yea for 2.49 its worth it... got mine free with the PSP knights in nightmare (too bad cant remember where the hell i tossed the UMD) so i went and got knights for 3.49 and stopped looking...

ended up turning 4 psp games into 5 downloads (traded them in to gamestop for 21 bucks and got a 20 psn card)

ended up with

There's a section on the web store and PS3 store that lists all currently discounted game items. Gonna be sad if they don't update the price on Persona 2 and Riviera and they're on sale for a 0% discount.

Well, I will limit it to one Atlus question...Can anyone recommend any of the RPGs if I really like the old school SMT games, Persona games and Strange Journey and really dislike RPGs like FF Tactics and Disgaea? I know, I'm a bad person.

Like first-person RPGs or just normal JRPGs in general? The two games you don't like are just Strategy RPGs, so avoid Knights in the Nightmare.

Class of Heroes is a game in that style, though it has a much better sequel out there if you want that.

on my ps3, i couldn't find the sale psp games anywhere. not in 'weekly deals' / all, nor in psp weekly deals.

i finally found them by going to weekly deals (ps3 store) and setting a filter to only show psp games. i don't know why they weren't showing up to begin with... odd. maybe it saves filters from the last time i was shopping? but that doesn't make sense, since i don't even remember setting one before.

I'm talking about the website. It's updated pretty quickly with at least most of what's offered and things show up on there as it's added, so that's how I pulled a list together quickly.

Sweet. I thought $20 was it's sale price, and like I said I hate to spend more than $10 on digital games. So if this is a permanent price drop, just means I can wait for a sale on it and snag it for hopefully $10 or less. (I'd also take it for free like EU is rumored to be getting next month!)

Shudder...as someone who isn't a fan of RPGs, this thread is going to drive me nuts for the whole week with a bunch of conversations about stuff I have no idea about.

I think you have to start downloading R&C FFA for Vita (on your PS3). Did you try that?

Download FFA for the Vita and deadlocked downloads as well. Confusing as fuck but that's how it worked for me
 
think i'm going to pick up almost all the atlus rpgs.

i was going to grab growlanser at 7.49 but then i watched some gameplay for gungnir and think i'm getting that instead.  it's got a visual interface style like yggrda and it's more a srpg, whereas reviews of growlanser say there are hours of story text (which would drive me insane) but solid combat.

i sort of want everything, obviously.

worse, i already own most of this on a different account... but want them on my vita.
