There has been talk of not wanting to support Phil Fish if Fez was ever bundled. Please do not use this as an opportunity to punish the other developers. You can choose to adjust the payment that goes to each. But remember, if you decide that a game is worth redeeming and playing, it's probably worth paying for.

Yeah, it would be best for people to set their expectations low. Games added as a bonus typically don't make anywhere near the amount of money that the main games make. As a result, Devs with high profile games are probably more interested in getting a slot in the next Humble Indie Bundle than they are in getting added as a bonus.

Obviously they've changed the way that the bundles work this time around. But it doesn't change the fact that the devs for the games that get added don't start seeing any money until those games are actually added. I'd feel better about the chances of getting something good if there was some sort of set aside for "bonus games" in the payment breakdown.
So what you're saying is we should expect the GTAV PC port to have been kept under wraps because they wanted to add it as a humble bundle bonus, right?

Lolololololol, wow.  Two repeats after they made people pre-BTA for the bonuses.  No interest in Virus Named Tom and only marginally interested in Rocketbirds and that's only two hours long.  Even I didn't think it would be that bad.  Honestly I'd feel let down if I only put up $1 (seeing as I owned the earlier stuff).

They didn't make people do anything. Anyone who beat the average solely because they wanted the bonuses screwed up because adding money later was always an option.

I think the community is running out of indie games that want to bundle at this time. At least Humble is dedicated to bundling good games instead of resorting to some of the garbage we are seeing in other bundles. More than likely we will see desired games in bundles next year, many of the "rumored" titles are still relatively new.

Well, I have most of the games in this bundle, don't know why I BTA in the first place... charity is a good reason since i donated most for it, but at least Bastion and Limbo are very awesome games, for new bundle buyers, this is a really awesome bundle.

Being so disappointed in this makes me feel so spoiled. "How dare they not add better cheap games I can throw onto my 130 game backlog!!!"

Really awesome bundle that just got even better.

In the future I hope we see these titles at some point

Braid, Hotline Miami, La Mulana, Machinarium, Rogue Legacy, Shank 2, Spelunky.

It sucks that I missed the Steam Summer sales because I know they had awesome deals.

I'm quite happy with Rocketbirds and Bastion OST. That's less than I expected, but still something I wanted to pick up.

Only 130 ;)

Braid, Hotline Miami, Machinarium, and Shank 2 have already been in humble bundles.

Holy crap, some of you people must be off your nut or are just trolling (*cough* Mooby *cough).

I usually don't give a shit when people start whining but this has reached new lows.

The way I see it, I spent less than $5 and got 10 great indie games (at $0.50 a piece).

Trine 2: Complete Story
Mark of the Ninja
Eets Munches Beta
Brutal Legend
FTL: Faster than Light
Fez
Rocketbirds: Hardboiled Edition*
A Virus Named TOM
Bastion
LIMBO

I get DRM-free downloads, cross-platform games, Steam keys for those who want them, and even soundtracks.

Only three of these games have been bundled before and you had to spend more than $6 to get Brutal Legend last time.

All this for less than $5, and you can even give your money to charity if you want.

Just because you personally already had 2 or 3 or 4 of these games doesn't make this any less an amazing bundle.

Being a CAG doesn't mean being a Chump Ass Gamer - get real!

Meh, it's human nature. I can admit objectively it's a good deal, but I don't think you should be surprised when people wait a week for bonuses and then it's all games they already have/the good ones have already been bundled in the past. Personally, for me it's more like "oh darn, oh well" than "this sucks F you humble."

Agreed, I already had FTL, A Virus Named Tom, and Bastion and still think I got a ridiculous deal. I'm eager to play all these games, and for $4 there's no way I'd ever get them cheaper, so no complaining from me ^_^

I bought the bundle on day 1 at the $1 minimum, did they get rid of adding bonuses even to the early buyers without beating the average?

I owned most of them, which is why the bonuses were weak to me. I admit that the bundle is a great deal for anyone that didn't own the games.

Most people probably bought Trine 2 during Steam sales, I think it's been 80% off before? I've played it several times on PS3/PC.

Got Mark of the Ninja from the Microsoft Indie Bundle on Amazon, which I figure a lot of other people did.

Got FTL for free from a very generous CAG, but again.. most people that wanted it probably grabbed it when it was on sale.

Brutal Legend I stupidly bought for $5 from a Steam sale.

Fez.. I didn't have.

Rocketbirds.. I didn't have.

Eets Munchies.. I didn't have, wouldn't have had much interest in anyway. I didn't know it existed.

A Virus Named Tom was a freebie on IGN Prime, and the developer gave away a lot of Steam keys on reddit (which is how I got it).

Bastion and LIMBO were in previous Humble Bundles (Bastion also had a weekly deal). For me, personally, it wasn't the most satisfying Humble Bundle, because there were only 3 games I didn't own. I still BTA though.

Actually kind of happy for these bonuses because now I might be able to get Virus named Tom for cheap!  (I missed the giveaway earlier this year)

Thank you! I really to get a 360 controller if I'm going to play some of these games. Just put $5 down and plan to play Trine 2, Brutal Legend and all the BTA games (apart from Limbo since I have it on the 360 and it isn't worth replaying).

Another great Humble Bundle!

Donated way above average and gave 80 percent to Phil Fish, because I'm not a turd who needs to justify stealing a great game someone labored hard to make just because that someone has opinions I don't like.

(Though his opinion about gamers being the worst? He has a point.)

This is Phil Fish, in disguise!

Paid about $5 for: fez, rocketbirds and a virus named meh. OK, I tried the new HB method (only BTA get bonuses) and I learned my lesson.

I'm just gonna post these steam keys here since most of my buddies own these as well. Enjoy!

Edit: Codes were used.

The whiny, jaded, entitled butthurt of some is really annoying. This thread is full of garbage like, "They had better add several games I don't have and I shouldn't have to pay more than a dollar for them and how dare they add games they've had before?!? Humble Bundle fail!!" It's as if a bundle is only good if it satisfies their personal desires. Other than Dead Space 3, the Origin bundle was made up entirely of games I already had or didn't care about, but did I whine about it? No! It was an amazing deal. It's not their fault I'd already bought everything for much, much, MUCH more over the years.

What does $5 buy you? A Taco Bell box meal which will be heading down your toilet tomorrow? Not even 1-1/2 gallons of gas which will be burned the next time you drive? People won't blink at those spends, but how dare Humble Bundle demand an exorbitant $4.61 (now) in exchange for 10 games and 9 soundtracks that you'll own forever, play for hours and hours, and can help charity. HOW DARE THEY!!!

What a herd of spoiled, entitled brats. There's wanting the best deal and there's being a jerk. That's why I think some should be known has DAGs. Boo-friggedy-hoo! You are disappoint. Go blog about it, emo kids. :baby:

I already have LImbo (or "YOU ARE GOING TO DIE OVER AND OVER AND OVER AND OVER!!!!" as I call it) and Bastion on Xbox, but I may buy up to the BTA price to get the Bastion soundtrack alone since it's wonderful.

I'm trading Trine 2, Mark of the Ninja, Brutal Legend, FTL, A Virus Named Tom, Bastion, and Limbo for a Taco Bell box meal. PM me if interested.

I owned most of them, which is why the bonuses were weak to me. I admit that the bundle is a great deal for anyone that didn't own the games.
I've learned (the hard way) to not buy any indie games any more unless they are in some big-name bundle. In fact, like I said in the Steam thread "At this point I'm never buying *any* game again unless it's bundled." I also owned Bastion, Brutal Legend, and Limbo from previous HIBs, and MotN from the Amazon bundle (and would never have thought it would show up in an HIB since it was published by MS). However, for Fez, AVNT, and especially FTL & Trine 2, I just had to be patient despite the multiple sales for them in the past.

So if you can exercise patience and don't need to play a game right now, all good-to-great indies will eventually show up in a bundle.

I'm trading Fez for toilet paper

So your solution was to steal the other games in the bundle?

Why do you care so much? You seem to have self appointed yourself the moral police of the humble thread, if it bothers you so much, go somewhere not called CHEAP ASS gamer.

Anyway, two of the bonuses are actually great (Rocketbirds and Virus) even if I already have them. I BTA for Fez so I'm not upset about it. Also, Humble bonuses tend to be weak IMO so I wouldn't be BTA just for them. Lock in the bundle at $1 if you wish (with a low BTA) and then just decide later.

Didn't read the thread but seriously, people are really complaining about this deal and charity. I swear, the internet brings out the inner monster in some of these entitled gaming pricks.

I for one am glad I waited, since I wasn't interested in any of the original games, since I didn't own most of these games on PC. Only games I owned was Brutal Legend and Limbo (both on the 360) and I haven't even played Brutal Legend yet. Can't wait to play the other games in the BTA bundle too.

Just sad that people want to complain about every little thing.
