I hope BF4 is better too, just a cluster
of glitches. I maxed out Recon and Engineer, and cant even touch Support because it keeps freezing my PS3 up.
Not to mention the framerate drops and other bs.

Omg! I can't wait for this f'ing thing to be in my living room! Rented Ghosts on Wii U just to see what it was like, gamepad play was pretty good. Hope remote play runs as well. Thinking about getting BF4 to..anybody thing BF5 will be out next year or will last 2 years like BF3? Also have Ac iv, Killzone, and Knack waiting..Wtf...too many choices

The way I was going to do it was problematic. I noticed a lot of auctions going up where people were just changing the Amazon shipping info. Easy, peasy, but if you have no feedback easy prey as well--my guess is eBay and PayPal would take a scammer's side in such a grey area case.

I think it will be two years again, or at least I hope so. I think that Premium was such a huge success that it bridges the financial gap and ensures the development of the expansions which also bring in money from non-Premiums. All in all I think it's a great balance that serves EA and the gamer really well. Of course I'm sure that they'll get greedy sooner than later and try to have both. Hopefully they at least go the similar bit different route that they were going to take with Medal of Honor and not the CoD route.
Not entirely true. Somebody posted that Amazon had the "is this a gift? It's shipping in its original box and can't be gift wrapped" or whatever it is on the product page before it sold out.
Somebody posted that a customer asked on amazon if it was being shipped in just the regular box. That means nothing.
The part about it can't be wrapped means nothing, as well. At least half the shit I order from amazon says it can't be wrapped for a gift, but they're still packaged.
Until such time as Amazon makes an official statement to confirm they're shipping these in a retarded manner, or they're arriving that way, then yes, it is entirely a rumor.
Oh, that's where the speculation started? Probably way before Amazon had any idea about final box size and / or Amazon product page guy checked a box on their posting tools to cover their asses since he was unsure.
Before it sold out, they also had "gauranteed" spelled wrong.

Also, to those who are picking up BF4 make sure you get the limited edition which includes the China Rising map pack. I got the vanilla version and now I have to go back and swap it out.

I'm done with amazon either way. Their games sales suck AND they raised the price for free shipping to $35. BB is king when it comes to gaming deals now, plus they PM almost all reatilers. But if Amazon does decide to ship that PS4 without a box Im conacting CS and getting that shit for half off. Truth!Amazon 4 life! Haha

So excited to pick it up friday. I think wal-mart will be good as most stores actually have more floor sales stock than pre-order stock. I'm not sure i want to go at midnight yet. It'll probably take forever because of the lines of non-preorder customers.

have fun with that. Alot of companys ship expensive electronics that pretty much show whats inside the box. i had a computer and a tv come from amazon in the normal box with stickers slapped on it. amazon prime is worth ever penny for 70 bucks with the shipping and streaming. I'm sorry but amazon awd deals and pc deals and alot of disc deals beats best buy.

Titanfall isn't really competing with Call of Duty. Titanfall is coming out in March, which means it will be pretty out of the way. And they announced that release date like a week ago, so they have a strong idea as far as where they are in development.
It definitely won't be SW Battlefront or Bad Company 3 next year judging by what DICE has said and it sure as hell won't be Medal of Honor. I'd like to think they're smart enough to not develop another Army of Two and the last Dead Space was a total nonstarter. Then there's Mirror's Edge 2 and Mass Effect 4 which they could market both as shooters if they wanted to (though that would be disingenuous for either title). Mirror's Edge 2 seems like a long shot. Mass Effect 4 may be the game they throw out there against CoD but that series has typically been delayed during the holidays and fall to Q1. There back catalog includes Mercenaries (more likely) and Saboteur (less likely) but that would depend on what developer they quietly handed off either of those IPs off to since Pandemic (who developed both titles) no longer exists. Considering they've been dead for a while and so has the dev they seem highly unlikely as well.
So that leaves us with whatever Crytek is doing. So while we know Crytek is independent, they do not publish their own games. Crysis 3 just came out this past February and with Ryse just weeks away, that would leave an incredibly short turn around time on a new Crysis. With that said, Crytek is multiple studios with multiple projects and we know they were developing and purchased the rights to Homefront, the original of which was about as blatant a CoD knockoff as there has been. It's been in development for a good while (sometime in 2011) and was expecting a 2014 release back then. Considering EA was probably looking for something to fill the 2014 shooter void come holiday time this would seem to be a perfect match. So there you have it. Titanfall will not be competing with Call of Duty for EA next year, it will be Homefront 2 (and a Titanfall: GOTY edition).
TLDR: It's not Titanfall competing with CoD next year, it's Homefront 2.

Not quite $30, but target is doing buy 2 get one free starting today, including ps4 games. Buy two you want, snag knack for free! Would work out to about $40 apiece.

I will go as far as to guarantee that the PS4 will be shipped to everyone in new box with padding for transport. From what I've read the PS4 comes in a small box with hardly any support or padding at all to begin with and you can see how small they are in the pics from the Amazon facility. So if Amazon decides to just send a $400+ item out like it is then I'll be making a call to customer support. I work at a D2C facility for Macy's, which for the most part is very similar to Amazon. There is no way we would do anything like this. The PS4 is to fragile to be vendor shippable, plus I don't want my PS4 box to have a bunch of shipping labels on the side of it. We will see, but I can't see it happening.

Yea, I thought they would match it to an extent. Not on all titles but on select titles. They usually match Targets week long deals. I still say give it a day or two and they may still.
