There are quite a few free games (mostly Free to Play) and mods available via the Steam platform, a comprehensive list of which can be found in this thread on the SPUF.
(NOTE: free games are not permanently attached to your Steam account like actual purchases would be. You'll need to manually download a game again from the website if you uninstall it.)

I was wondering about that. I saw Loren pop up to the top of the new release list and thought it was weird since I had seen it listed on your signature a few weeks back.

Seriously? I am not eligible because I joined CAG later than last year?

The next time I give something away it will only be to those with O Negative blood, must have been born within the Year of the Donkey in the Chinese Calendar, and can land a Triple Axel. If any CAG can prove this then they are eligible to get my Steam/Xbox/Origin/Whatever Game key.

I was about to mention that. I am NOT liking this one bit. I don't want old games showing up in new releases or having their release date changed.

I noticed on the indie wiki that it says keys were added for little racers street to build a greenlight2, anyone actually get that key?  I didnt see it in mine

The only case where this would seem reasonable to me is Early Access transitioning to complete. Of course that'd probably just lead to every smaller dev releasing in early access to get two spots and boost their visibility.

I don't think it's a rule that is ruthlessly enforced. I managed to slip by on what can only be guessed as my massive charisma.

Oops, I actually meant Jan 2014. Was updating my previous post from Dec to Jan and forgot to change the year. Good catch. Fixed now.

Damn it I already yoinked this one from someone yesterday. Why oh why can't I just have multiples of games in my steam account? Find another game to give me instead. I want all the freebies. Whiny enough yet?

You're giveaway sucks!!! I'm not asking for BF4, but Shufflepuck Cantina is a shitty freemium mobile game that's a total grind and no AA jaggies make my eyes bleed more than more than a weeping christ statue. And If I have to listen to that goddamn Ohnonononono frelling alien squirrel thing again I'm going to club a whole creche of baby seals to a messy death and then start on the penguin chicks because the ported this PoS to linux.

I already have this PoS on Steam, but I demand a free copy for my alt-account so I can idle for cards there and then burn them. I'm fuck ing tired of spoder and lostnumber getting everything... I have a mountain of posts and profile views and I demand the special treatment I deserve. So give me the damn game already, else I'll rage about it after every post you make in any thread on CAG...

I'm sorry it's just that without this I have nothing. No one loves me. I have no friends. All I have in life is the shallow thrill that comes with viciously ripping a steam code out of some other poor saps hands. I really wish it could have worked out. Now I don't know how much longer I can hold onto the will to go on. but go ahead you must be more deserving than me. Anyone would be really. I'll just slink off into some corner again and cry myself to sleep. Hopefully when I wake up I won't have choked to death on the tears. But even that wouldn't be so bad really. At least it would bring my sad pathetic existence to an end. I hope you can enjoy the game when you receive it and at least think of me fondly now and then. However I think that may be hoping for too much. I'm not very memorable.

Too lazy to go back and check to see if this was answered but for those curious if you buy one copy of Takedown: Red Sabre it still gives you an additional copy of the game to gift out.

The LEGO Movie Videogame was released today on Steam. I'm sure no one here has played it yet as it isn't on sale. I was looking at the pictures though, and it isn't clear if it plays exactly the same way as every other LEGO TT game. There appears to be quite a bit of variety (Batman, Gandalf, Green Nina, I mean... come on) and it might keep it from being as stale as the others sometimes get.

4 pack actually gives 7 extra copies.

4-pack in russia is ~2$, and around -0.11$ a copy after selling all cards :D

But probably still not worth.
