also just a heads up for anyone that did the borderlands 2 goty dlc install. Make sure you put in the borderlands 2 disc,  even if you are just playing digital. I was trying to play the digital version 1.11 with all the dlc installed only 1.07. So you need to install that borderlands 2 disc before you trade it back in. I bought it for 20 and traded back in for 21, but I almost didn't even put the disc in the system. It has no install data (or something tiny, not even 100 meg) but it updates the dlc to 1.11 so that you can play online. I wasn't able to connect to anyone with my digital version because the dlc was keeping me from connecting on mp. Once I updated the disc dlc then I can play online perfectly. Also do a google image search for shift codes, I got the valentines day, st patricks day and halloween shift heads/skins to work great. Also got my poker night 2 shift codes finally, wootwoot. 

Obviously if you are still using a borderlands 2 disc, you don't need to worry about any of this, just for digital. I couldn't find out for the life of me why I wasn't able to connect at all, even when just trying to play online with my girl in a different room, lol. Now she is the gf mode mechromancer and ill be the meat grinder psycho :)

also profstotch, i am literally a night away from witch 100 nights plat. I am stuck at work but I put my kids on anima grinding duty to get that 333 for Lost Nedica and 144 for that Blunt Omega Hammer. Hopefully I come home and it's all gravy from then on. I knocked out all the pillars last night, that freaking desert was a mess, my girl was laughing cuz I spent 20 minutes combing up and down and finally found the last pillar behind a rock i had to bomb in the opposite corner, lol, these maps are gonna be the end of me. I tried to look online for pillar maps and no such luck :) and wow, even more betrayal every step of this game. It's like soul nomad all over again :)

I thought Tyler would have learned his lesson after stealing games from Microsoft, but he literally doesn't give a shit. The guy will apparently steal any game he can get his grubby digital mitts on.

Also, we need to get that sand out of affa's vagina. I can't believe he reported Jay like that.

Hm. I "bought" the PS3 full trial. When I looked at my download list it showed it as the demo, I believe. Then I "bought" the Vita demo and now I have this in my download list:

I really should finish up the BL2 DLC. I got stuck on a Torgue mission where you have to fight a bunch of dudes at some bar. I literally tried over and over for like 4 days straight and gave up on it. Then randomly, a few months later I started it up and beat the mission on my first try. Now that I've been off it a few months more, I should be able to beat the DLC with no issues.

I think you have to run out your trials before buying them. So start both games and then exit or play for 60 minutes each then you should be able to purchase them

 
Yeahh I'm not risking my PSN account for a free game that's been only $10 multiple times and could very likely come to PS+

But those of you that are, let me know how it goes. I always like seeing if people made out safe or not.

Hmm, well I never started the disc but had started the digital version to make sure it worked and it was all there. Going to try a multiplayer game and see what happens.

I'm pretty sure all timed trials look like the full game download in the download history. That's why I said earlier that the whole GoW debacle was Sony's fault because they somehow link purchasing the timed trial to purchasing the full game.

It seems like by buying the Sly Cooper timed trial for PS3 you could possibly unlock the full Vita version though, in the same way the GoW unlock thing worked. But I don't see any way you could unlock the PS3 version, especially since Sly is only cross-buy one way, from PS3 to Vita, and not both ways.

No, that seems to be working but I indeed cannot connect to an online game.

 
Eldritch, the dlc worked just fine digital. I was able to start up whatever dlc, but then when I tried to play online it would just keep sending me back to the main menu. I reset my router etc opened my ports oh my, but it was totally the dlc being 1.07 and digital being 1.11 just wouldn't let me play online at all. I really hate to play co op games solo, iv done hunted and damnation and bulletstorm co op etc, the worst games as long as i have someone suffering with me, lol, but I really dodged a bullet cuz I had the game literally in the bubble wrap and I pulled it out, updated the dlc, and then sent it off and we can connect perfectly now. If you already sent it, maybe a gamefly or gamestop 'rental' just to update dlc to 1.11. Peace bro

Playing by yourself works just fine, but I prefer playing with my grrl or even a group of friends/strangers. Yup

That's probably it. I'm going to download them now. This whole thing has make me want to play GoW. I've beat the first one a few times, but only got about an hour into the second. I'd really like to play it on Vita, but $40 is ridiculous for these.

I didn't have to run the trials before getting the Vita version as they're entirely different games. Getting the PS3 version would probably require running them for the hour though.

 
Has anyone tried to play the Vita GoW games yet to confirm that we all didn't just get boners for times trials that weren't labeled?

GOW shows the full game links when I press on the icons of each Ps3 & vita in my PC download list.

Sly shows demo for the vita (even in the title) and trial for the PS3. Does not link either to the full game versions.

 
Vita games don't have trials, as for the trophies, I have not tried playing mine yet, but there are a few trophies you should get early on like 1.21 gigawatts

i've beaten the hydra, i would think i would have gotten a trophy by now.

i don't see a trophy list either.

maybe the download version is bugged someone, not by us getting it free?

Die a bunch of times until you get offered easy mode, that is a trophy. There is also a trophy for getting Poseidon Rage. There is no trophy for beating the Hydra.

My vita   froze up on me so i called sony..

Sony said to factory reset the system so i did but here is where it gets  WEIRD   

They said i had to redownload all of the games back to the memory card   one by one, BUT  when i  put link my account to the memory card all of the games were back on the memory card (different order but all of them were there with no downloads)

im guessing the system did not do a full factory reset?

 
Just got PES 14 and stick it to the man for the PS4. So one more game for a system that I don't own yet.

I have a grand vision of buying PS4's only after I finish my PS3 and 360 backlog.

A factory reset doesn't format your memory card, everything stays on it but you have to put the right account back on the Vita and then authorize the system again.
