And my point was - some games like D2 + SC1, there's already official ways around it from Blizzard that was on their support page w/ their patches, WAY back in the old days.

I'm sure there's many people like myself who just REFUSE to uninstall Blizzard Games, once they get 'em installed. It's Blizzard - I don't normally uninstall their games. And I'm sure many have these on disc, from the old days. Might be easiest if it's all patched-up and whatnot already - just to copy the MPQ's from the game-disc.

Or in SC1's case, also copy over INSTALL.EXE from the disc to the installed game-folder.

If you ain't got 'em installed currently - yeah, best to just activate your key on BNet; grab the files from BNet; and go from there.

Tbh, whenever I have a CD for a digital game, I use it. I've done so for both SWTOR and Tera within the past year or so.

I still hate games that require you to always have the disc in. That just annoys me. But when it comes to installing most of a game rather than waiting even longer downloading those parts, discs are still hella useful.
