what's the problem with waiting? does a dollar from the $60 go away every 10 minutes?
the longer the wait, the more likely the order is to get cancelled or all the codes will be gone.

i ordered over 3 hours ago with visa debit card. still no codes. i had to authenticate it with my bank after the order was submitted. so i suspect newegg is going through further authorization.

I used PayPal and got it in two minutes. Everyone who is still waiting for their order, did you create a Newegg account for this? I wouldn't be surprised if new customers had to undergo additional verification.

Hmm maybe I shouldn't have gone with paypal since I've ordered from them before but with my card.

Or, maybe I'm just being impatient lol...

That might be it. I had to create an account because I have never bought anything from Newegg before. I won't worry unless I don't have the code in 2 days.

Thanks in for 2. Worst comes to worst I only get $40 but w/e that's fine I am doing Halo and Diablo UE digitially. I'll gladly take the risk to save $40.

I got my codes in 4 minutes. $80 for $120.00 credit is awesome. You can go the Fifa route to save more but I'm ok with the two ACIV codes.

It says limit 5, so go for broke if you need more credit lol.

Edit: I had a newegg account for years, used a Visa. Incase anyone was wondering.

When was the last time XBox Live Currency was 25% off? Seems like it hasn't been since points were retired.

The wait wouldn't bother me if it was consisent across payment services. Put in my paypal order at 7:15, still no codes. Another CAG ordered over an hour later and received codes in under 30 minutes.
I also already had a newegg account. (assuming you are referring to me)

Did you have one, or did you have to make one?

Isn't it 35% off right now :)

Saw this on reddit and grabbed $60 for $40, I want to grab Another World and Valiant Hearts! This 3 day weekend should be fun!

Sweet, I have 10% off coupon from Newegg. $60 for $36, ok take my money NE
Check your emails for those coupons. One time use codes, unique, and only work for the account they're sent to
I checked my email. I have so much spam from them it's not been funny. Last coupon I received for 10% off was in 2012, so I just replaced the year but it said there was an error with the coupon.

For those interested I typed in MEMKNURJUL14, it does seem to be a valid coupon that only works if your account was authorized via email to use it since it doesn't give the "invalid coupon" message.

Edit: Looks like I missed out trying to get a coupon to work, since the item was removed from my cart and is no longer in stock. Maybe for the best, didn't need to spend money right now in XBL credit anyways.

Yea here was mine. Looks like isn't unique but just has to be authorized via email. Cool

Yeah this and the FIFA deal are dead now.

That being said (Rogere) over at Slickdeals saw they have a Plants Vs Zombies Garden Warfare digital code for $28. The game is $40 on Xbox One store so the code should redeem for a $40 code.  I just bought one and will report back when I get code.

That's $1.42 exchange rate compared to this which is $1.50

(Edit) Annnnnd server is crashed.

Noticed on slick deals that PVZ XB1 is listed at $28 for a digital code which should net you $40... or $30. Who's going to take the risk?

Not as much savings obviously.

Edit: Beaten by a Sharp Katana
Actually dividing the total amount of credit to what you paid you save about 0.08 cents on that deal compared to this. I'm not exactly sure how you would convert that rate but that is *technically* cheaper than this deal.

Thanks... I'm half asleep, so yeah. The server indeed has crashed, wonder if Newegg will ban me for buying two of those credits. Surprised it took them that long to fix it. Off to bed.

With PvZ you are getting a 30% bonus.

With the original deal you are getting a 34% bonus

1.00- (newegg price / full amount)

i bought one about an hour ago and still havent received it,was hoping to get it sooner rather than later so i could dl UFC while i run to the store smh.

It's hilarious. I got Best Buy GCU in April.

However I did the 20% off 100 XBL Newegg deal in February. Also got 110 total in credit from the two weeks of GS give aways, and now stuff like this pops up too? I want to use my GCU but this is just too good to be true. Looks like my next few games will have to be digital.

If you add it together wouldn't you be getting a 50% Bonus on this deal and a 42.50% bonus on the Plants Vs Zombies deal?

Spend $40 50% of 40 is 20 which is equal to the $60 you actually receive.

Spend $28 42.50% of 28 is 11.90 which is equal to $39.90 or very near $40.

You're right that my math was wrong and this deal is better, but I think the margin is larger.

I think I may of missed it. I placed my order at 10:20pm est and layed half PayPal and half from bank account and still in verification process. Should I just cancel order?

I messed up in my wording. The percantages I wrote were the percent off of the full amount, not the bonus % of what was paid.

Was nervous but got $60. Probably use on DLC or Forza Horizons 2 or Halo Master Chief collection as I'll probably keep em til they're worthless anyway

Had to break down and get this deal. Couldn't pass it up.

And for those wondering, the $40 for $60 is a better deal than $28 for $40.

$40 for $60 is approximately 66% of the price

$28 for $40 is 70% of the price

Or if you prefer fractions

$40 for $60 is the same as $80 for $120

$28 for $40 is the same as $84 for $120

damn, wish i would have seen this before i spent the $54 on the fifa live code, $40 for $60 is better than $55 for $80
This seems to have been the best deal, you make $25 extra. Plus, are these still going on and where do I need to go to get this?

It doesn't really matter what the percentages are, if we are talking about bonus money then the margin in what matters. If you spend $10 to receive $20, you just made 10 dollars @ 100% increase, but if you spend $30 to receive $45, you just made 15 dollars @ 50% increase.

When talking about free money, we should focus on the dollar $$$ amount increase, not the percentages.

Now, my understanding is that you can only do this one time. If my assumption is incorrect, than you indeed are on the right path. If my assumption is correct, then there is some validity to this post.

I'm curious how that FIFA 14 is giving $80 live credit when the DD is priced exactly at $55 on the xbox live store.
