  • You cannot currently buy any Xbox 360 content on xbox.com using your account balance, you can only use an active credit card or PayPal. To use your balance, you must make purchases on your console.  Unfortunately, even "purchasing" free content through the web site like trials requires an alternative method of payment tied to your account, though adding an empty MasterCard / Visa gift card that is registered for online purchases will work.  Xbox One games can be purchased on the web site with your account balance, but DLC cannot.
  • Some sales are intended for Gold subscribers only, as noted within each section.  This requires being a paid subscriber or within a console-activated "1 month complimentary Gold trial" account.  Neither 48 hour trials, 14 day trials nor free weekends qualify.

To go back to a conversation from a few months ago, PvZ levels go to at least 233.  I just played with someone with that level on the 360 version.

 
I'll be getting Xbox Live for the first time on the Xbox One. Just wondering, only one account needs to have Gold and if other accounts are created, does it extend to them as well?

If you set to as the home Xbox, only one account on it needs to have Gold for all of them to use Gold.

Of course they will, you can get the season pass on 360. Titanfall on 360 is behind a few weeks because of its release and the patches come out a bit later as well so its only natural DLC will as well. They didn't forget about you ;)

Yeah, I knew that, and doubt the base game will be for quite some time. I meant that I wondered if they offered special sales on their DLC or something for members. I guess that isn't the case. Too bad DLC isn't up on the XB1 web store yet.

I might just get that Sixty Second Shooter game when I'm done with my XB1 backlog.

He meant they probably wouldn't as they specifically state that, even though titanfall is an EA game, Titanfall and its DLC doesn't even get the basic 10% discount that EA Acces gives you.

So it probably wouldn't get a discount specifically for EA Access either
 
Well I have a week off work & I am trying hard not to buy Magic 2014 or 2015 just in case of a sale tomorrow, but I really want it to play today :( . A quick look at xbldb shows 2014 having been on sale twice with the last in April so there is a possibility. 2015 probably won't see a sale until the end of the year.

Incidentally, does anybody know just why 2015 isn't on the One yet? I am also hesitant at getting that on 360 as I would definitely want it on the One with the 1000g + dlc.

2015 just came out in July. It's doesn't have all the game modes of 2014 and previous versions but the deck builder is much improved.

Haven't seen much information on it lately, but I'd like to think that they're going the pinball fx route where everything you've unlocked in the 360 version will transfer over to the X1 version. Other than that, only thing I saw was it's looking to be released by "end of summer" which technically gives them at least another month yet.

Unrelated, but since the Saints Row IV season pass was on discount not too long ago, maybe someone can help me out. Played through the Christmas DLC last night and things were fine and dandy (outside of it freezing a half dozen times on the second mission). Completed the mission, did the Naughty or Nice side quest, but the Genki Holiday stuff is not showing up on my map AT ALL. Tried deleting the content and reinstalling it, but nothing. Anyone have an idea at a possible fix?

Haven't jumped on an xb1 or ps4 yet and I'm torn on getting the unsupported 360 version now or waiting till I upgrade for the definitive experience.
 
I'm tempted to grab Diablo for XBO for $48 at BB since I have a bunch of credit there, but then I think about Metro next week and Destiny a couple weeks after and I really don't need to add another game to the backlog at release!

Yeah the summer drag is pretty much over. At last. Now onto the insanely packed AAA titles of Sept, Oct and Nov and the price slashs that will surely follow in Jan and Feb (maybe even Dec for some).

What's "unsupported"? Are you in a region where you're forced to import or something? I am grabbing the 360 version myself since I don't see myself getting an Xbox One for another couple of years, if ever. I've ditched my vanilla Diablo 3 copy over the weekend for $22, so the updated version should cost me under $20. :)

The DLC isn't bad but it's just more of the same and the core game is so long I was kind of sick it it by the time I got around to the DLC. If you haven't finished the game first you may want to before you think about the DLC.

I believe Blizzard officially confirmed that the 360/ps3 versions will be patched up till 2.0.6 but that's it. Any further balancing or updates will be restricted to pc and the current gen consoles.

Here's a method that u can do to get Diablo 3 and download it right now-

Switch your console to Aus and reboot.

Click the link- http://store.xbox.com/en-AU/Xbox-One/Games/Diablo-III-Reaper-of-Souls-Ultimate-Evil-Edition/998bb45d-6a74-4587-8c40-fee36e3fefc8 If it's not showing the game, log out and log in again.

Once the game is shown with a "Buy now on Xbox One" link, click that.

It will ask you to add a card, put in your current card info, or whichever you want to pay for the game with, and just add an Aussie address, etc.

And yes, you can still play after switching back to US.

Which is actually cheaper than US price, lol. You have to buy it with a credit card or get AU ms points, no paypal option ;(

I wonder what the problem with updates is. Didn't Microsoft change the way patches are handled.
