  • You cannot currently buy any Xbox 360 content on xbox.com using your account balance, you can only use an active credit card or PayPal. To use your balance, you must make purchases on your console.  Unfortunately, even "purchasing" free content through the web site like trials requires an alternative method of payment tied to your account, though adding an empty MasterCard / Visa gift card that is registered for online purchases will work.  Xbox One games can be purchased on the web site with your account balance, but DLC cannot.

Has anyone been able to fully get dance central spotlight work properly? It's a pile of turd and the first time in the longest that I'm having so many problems with a game. I followed the steps harmonix posted as for changing my gamerpic and it still won't let me play the game. It just says player lost with a help/resume option neither do anything to make the game work properly.

I'm gonna have to get one as well as buying flash drives is getting to be a pain

Im at 250 gig drive busting with no space and like 8 or so 16 gig flash drives

my question is when your moving your data from the old drive to the new one

did you get the transfer cable with your drive? and did you have to do a license transfer?

I would guess no but I like to have all my stuff playable regardless of online or offline

 
Spent 2 hours last night playing Monaco 4-player local co-op.  We all agreed afterwards that the game just really isn't any fun.  I think what killed it for us was the requirement to have all 4 players alive in order to move on to the next higher floor in each level.  The fact that the graphical style sometime felt like an always-exploding Robotron 2084 didn't help much, either.

You should be using 32gb flash drives, not 16s. I bought three Sandisk Ultra 32s recently from BB for $15 each, so I have a little more space available now (my 250gb slim was rapidly filling up). Also, he shouldn't have to do a license transfer since that is only for a completely new 360 base unit (not required if you're just upgrading the HDD).

Yeah I went into it with high hopes since everyone here seems to praise it but after a while the game was pretty boring.
 
is Watch Dogs worth $30 or should I just wait until after the holiday onslaught of games before I pick it up?

Pretty much nothing on this console so far except shooters and this seems to be the only intriguing AAA game so far with a story.

 
I really enjoyed Watch Dogs on PS4. The story isn't overly long, but there are tons of side missions and activities if you're into that sort of thing.

Get Ryse if you like story driven games. Dead Rising 3 is fun as hell too.

I was so down on Ryse until I played it last month and was really shocked. Up there with Black Flag and Wolfenstein for surprises of this generation and games I've enjoyed most. Still really short and I hate the direction of the last chapter of the game but still great at the right price.

As one of the pre-holiday blockbusters (and an Ubi game) I'll be shocked if it's not readily available under $20 through the holidays.

but a fighting game is useless if their aint people online playing it,

Agree 100%. I thoroughly enjoyed Ryse. I am a Roman history junkie so I purchased it at launch. Wound up spending $48.00 and I wasn't disappointed in the least. Definitely one of the more enjoyable games I have played this year. Its a shame it didn't wind up doing better sales wise.

Like I've posted before, price point is only thing holding me back on Ryse.  Not a fan of the Dead Rising series, but DR3 looks a lot better than the other 2 judging off the demo.

I'll probably hold off Watch Dogs a little longer as well.

I got bored of DR3 but loved Ryse. Played through and traded in for a cheap rent.

Wait on Watch Dogs, and you are seriously not even trying to look for other games if you think there are only shooter games available.

 
God how I wish MS would release a patch that allowed external HD's with the 360. Factoring in the price of the flash drives I have to buy each time I want to buy new games....well, even the really great deals wind up getting hammered down to mediocre deals, at best. On demand games.....forget about it. Not worth it even at 75% off. Its easier and cheaper to just buy the retail copy. Just so tired of dealing with this issue on my 360!

Black Flag would be a option, but I'm so far behind on that series I might just give it up.

 
Is Forza 5 showing up for free for anyone yet? I have it installed from disc that I rented from the library and it's letting me play digitally.

Edit: A few people on reddit are reporting it as downloadable from the console and one said it was still showing as full price on smartglass.

Is Forza 5 free forever or is it free until Sunday-Monday? Meaning if you downloaded before those days it won't be yours anymore after Sunday-Monday.

For me it's just easier to keep everything because of how shitty my internet is here. I only get about 1.5 mbps on a good day

Black Flag is great and they've actually made it very self contained. The while thing still ties in with the previous games and the ongoing story but it's much less invasive and the non-Animus parts are a lot shorter and less awful. The whole thing is so nonsense anyway. I played all the games and I still can't follow it when it gets weird. The pirate/assassin stuff is so well executed though and looks so good on next gen that I would get it anyway and when it kicks you out just do the quick objectives and get back into the animus.

Yeah..it's gonna be tough. I have Forza, destiny pre-loaded, battlefield, madden, FIFA, ryse, dead rising, titanfall, and the free games. Have like 20GB left.

That sounds like a lot, but considering I have like 80 360 games (arcade and digital) with 200GB left and 60-70 PS3 games..that's crazy

What this guy said. Black Flag is one of the better games in this series. My second favorite, behind Assassin's Creed II. You can approach Black flag without having played the other games, (although, it helps if you have), the Animus and office parts catch you up with what is going on, in regards to the Templars and the story so far.
 
^^^Achievements man!

Played the first race of Forza 5 and got all I needed to see in the trial.  Not a big Forza fan to begin with but I do like the Horizon series a lot more.  Wouldn't buy FH2 until it hits a serious price drop however.

Exactly. In my eyes AC4 is to AC3 like AC2 is to AC. Of the numbered entries 1 and 3 are the weakest but they also introduced a lot of the ideas that were then refined and worked better in the next game.
 
I know DBZ Ultimate Tenkaichi is suppose to be bad, but that 5 month long gold price tag of 10 dollars keep tempting me. As a DBZ fan I feel I have to buy it at some point, just to judge it myself.
