I'm thinking about getting either Mario Tennis or Mario and Luigi Dream Team, thoughts on them?
I had a lot of fun with Dream Team. Despite it being one of the weaker entries in the franchise, it was still very enjoyable.

Avoid Mario Tennis.

That second sentence really worries me as I really didn't much like Partners in Time. Not that I'm rushing out to buy it or anything...

Mario and Luigi Dream Team might be the weakest entry in a brilliant series, but even the weakest entry still makes it one of the best 3DS games and certainly one of the best 3DS RPGs. I loved it. The writing alone is worth it.

Mario Tennis was quite a disappointment, though, compared to the glory of the old Game Boy Advance version. Glad Mario Golf turned out better. (You got that one? That one is good.)

Finally made the leap and went digital on EOIV and Untold and traded in my physical copies. I figure I'll likely keep them in my collection anyway, so its 2 less games to lug around.

You start simple there, then take the next logical step and start buying all the Atlus, Xseed etc stuff digitally since they have awesome sales. Then you start buying Nintendo stuff digitally since it never goes down in price. Grab a few more from sales, such as from Capcom and whatever else pops up. Replace a few more physical copies. Before you know it, you are making excuses to buy games digitally instead, even if it's slightly less of a deal, and you say, well, it's convenient. Then one day you find yourself shopping for an unsupported 64GB card because your 32 is full and you want to hoard everything on there at the same time and can't.

Lol, problably soon enough. My Vita has a 64GB and an enormous digital backlog and my 3DS is 32GB currently (I think), and currently growing. (Thanks to all the free game promos, and various games I got codes for)

I'd probably have brought more Nintendo games digitally by now if I didnt absolutely hate their setup. (Something happens to my console and I'm SOL on everything, especially my Ambassador games)

You might not be SOL. That's what I always tell myself.

Yeah, my 32GB Vita card is about like trying to drive a go kart on the German Autobahn. I hope to get a 64GB there someday when it's cheaper (or I make more money). That way I can hoard more stuff and not play it.

Wish you could buy digital games on Nintendo's website. Still haven't picked up a 3DS , but I'd love to get a few of these while on sale.

Well there isn't a lot of it on the eShop but only stuff that really has is for the Atlus games that go on sale constantly.
I see. If the Phoenix Wright DLC isn't on sale during a Capcom sale, it's most likely not going to anytime soon.

Does anyone with the DLC think it's worth it?

I asked the same question but didn't get an answer in this thread. But thanks to the GS $5 off coupon, you can still get it at a discounted price. Personally I'm gonna pick up another $10 eshop card tomorrow and just get the DLC, rather than sit around wondering when/if it'll get cheaper.

Now, if it was a Steam game I would probably never do that.

I got a couple extra Pokemon cards from GS today if any regulars need one. Emphasis on regulars (i.e. if I don't recognize your name don't be surprised if you don't get one).

Edit- PM me since I'm on my phone and liable to forget when I'm at the computer later otherwise.

I ended up getting two with no problem. They changed their tune about having to preorder to get them.

I normally don't snipe at games, but I paid full price on release day and really haven't let go of my pain yet. Hometown Story is awful.

Hoping the new Harvest Moon (from Xseed, now called Season of Seasons or something) is great and also hoping the new Natsume Harvest Moon (called... I don't know what, but not Harvest Moon) is great too. (Sure is all very confusing.)

Super Little Acorns is fun. Don't remember what it was on sale for last time but u enjoyed it.

have eshop credit and then all of a sudden nothing looked appealing to me. just going to sit on it for a while I guess
Yeah and I keep buying it from GS.

Yeah that game is terrible and probably not worth it at $10.

The Harvest Moon thing is weird and I can't keep it straight either. One of them is being made by the remnants of the studio that made the games originally but I don't remember which.

Yes Hometown Story sucks. It is hard as heck to control and I likely only played it 6 hours...it sucks. I'm a Harvest Moon anything fanboy too.

It's a good thing I stocked up on eshop munnies :)

The way it's worded seems to indicate it will span more than a week. Here's hoping to a couple of good weeks from Nintendo.
Yeah and I misread it and thought it was just going to be fighting games for some reason. A little more hopeful rereading it and realizing it's the games the characters are from. New Leaf and FE A for $25 are probably too much to hope for. Been dumping my 3DS library with all these trade deals giving near retail prices for 3DS games so I would love to replace some of those with my half off eShop credit.

My 20% off eShop credit from BestBuy earlier this year doesn't seem as good anymore. No complaints here though, I just filled up with PSN credit instead.
