I just bought hotline last night. Wasn't quite sure what to expect since it's not a game that I would traditionally find that interesting. But, for $3 I took the plunge and it hooked me immediately. I've only made it through the first 3 or 4 stages, but I can't wait to play more. IMO, it is a steal for $3.

I remember thinking Styx: Master of Shadows looked interesting, but $18 is a bit much for it to go straight into my backlog. By the time I would get around to playing it I think it will go on sale again.

The PS4 version is excellent. I think the worlds are larger on the PS4 vs. the PS3 and Vita. Graphics are very crisp and you can use the touchscreen to zoom in and out of your view. Well worth it to me, but I'm a huge fan of this game and own it on every platform.

Thanks. I'm a big fan too. I've spent most of my time on the PC version. Have you played that? Is it worth it if you already own the PC version? I'm having a hard time finding any detailed information about the differences online.

I had a love affair with IOS gaming for about a year, until one day I realized I was playing tons of 'free' or dirt cheap games that I absolutely hated, just hoping I might find one that was 'fun'. So many of them are just boiled down grinders, or rip offs of other games I'd already played and enjoyed more. There ARE gems, but the effort to find those gems wore me down. So I gave up IOS gaming cold turkey, and now play my vita.

I'm much happier gaming, even though the games are more expensive. I occassionally get sucked into playing a game longer than I want just to get some last stinking trophy, but in general the caliber of games is significantly higher (assuming you skip the obvious stinkers).

Plus buttons and analog sticks, obviously.

On the PS Vita you go to Content Manager,, then select "Copy Content", then choose "Online Storage" from the list of devices.

I haven't played it but I would wait on the price. Pirate Warriors 2 went on sale this time last year and had a PS+ discount dropping it to around $13. I really want to pull the trigger on this but I am hoping a better price comes around. 40% off isn't deep enough for it to become a part of my current backlog.

Dunno how to do it on PS4. But I believe you should have 1g on each type of device, not 1g total. So you should have 1g on PS4, 1g on PS3, and 1g on PS Vita, so if the PS4 is having the issue, it should only be the PS4 that needs some stuff deleted. That is my understanding.

Both I think. When I was backing up stuff it was still showing like 350 MB which was more than everything else put together and there was a crap ton of files. If I had to guess there were even more files at one point that it deleted and replaced but had already been uploaded.

That's how it is for that game. Madden is similar in producing large saves, but sports games have been doing that since the beginning of memory cards.

PS4's save system is a bit messed up with regards to cloud saves because the minimum size for saves is 11 MB, so you could at most have saves stored for about 90 games. I've yet to reach a limit on Vita and PS3 since the majority of their saves can be in the hundreds of KBs, though the latter was helped by not uploading Afrika or some ancient sports game saves I didn't need in cloud storage.

It takes a little time to get used to a controller vs. mouse/keyboard (I played the PC version a ton too, but I think the Vita is my favorite, although it has smaller worlds). I found the "manual cursor" feature on Vita/consoles much better than the "smart cursor" when digging, cutting trees, etc. (you can switch cursor types with one button, any time). The game looks FANTASTIC on the Vita OLED screen, colors really pop and with the zoom feature and touchscreen inventory (very easy to switch weapons, use potions, etc.), it really shines on the handheld. Well worth it IMO.

We both signed in made a character... and couldnt START a game. The onlly option i saw was going to search for players which wouln't let us go any further because shes not +. First you both need ps plus. Even couch co-op requires ps plus, which sucks real bad. Then the modes for local co-op are limited too, like only 2v2. It isn't even that fun to begin with.

Thats one of the ing stupidest things i've ever heard. Theres a damn mode for local play or something like that, your telling me that doesn't work unless your online with PS+? ... really? I guess they dont understand what the local of 'local match' means 'facepalm* well if thats true im proably just deleting the game. The sheer idiocy of that just rubs me the wrong way.
