tempted at child of light but 5 to 8 hours seems very very short starting to regret not buying art online for 23

It looks like they show different prices on the web store depending on where you're looking, as the regular sale prices are only shown in the deals section while PS+ only shows up in the PS+ section of the web store.

Edit: Except for Ethan: Meteor Hunter.

Edit 2: Nevermind. They just updated it so that PS+ prices are all over the games in the regular deals section.

Cool. What a nice bonus to get a free upgrade like that.

Don't Starve Giant Edition also has a free upgrade dealeo as well. Oddly though when I clicked it it showed the sale price but from the menu with all deals ($ave->Weekly Deals->AllDeals) showing it showed Free and I added it to my cart and checked out.

Nice.

I'm going to have to scour the rest of the deals for stuff like this.

Unrelated to that, there's an add for Rockstar games 75% off. Also a side banner add for an EA sale. The links are bad, but looks like more is going on.

This week has been turning out decent despite the sale being a dud.

Difference is now you own them outside of PS+, so there is a difference. Maybe not a glitch, but it is a positive thing.

 
What is with all the "Free" Games today?
 

When I went onto Sont's webpage to check the deals.. there were a few games listed as "Free"

Including Hot Line Miami and Child of Light

No, that's just the benefits of Cross Buy with regards to some PS+ titles. We've seen it a number of times now that some PS+ titles that get a new Cross Buy version on a new platform are still free and don't have the time limit either.

 
Waiting to see the Rockstar and EA sale, but the pages keep getting errors. Week 3's stuff is pretty lame, but there's some other hidden goodies on sale:

The SMT series for PS2 Classics are on sale for $6.50 apiece, I think (which includes Persona 3 FES, Nocturne, and both Digital Devil Sagas; Persona 4 is still at $10).

Meh. Hope discounts on Child of Light are better on 360 if all goes according to plan...

And Hotline at $2.50 last December was much more enticing.

There's no Rockstar or EA sale this week. It might be a Flash Sale for this weekend.

 
Anyone know if the add $60 PayPal promo is still active?  I think it expires today, does it end later today or is it already too late?

I'd like to know this too. If COD:AW is $44.99 for ps3 plus free digital upgrade to PS4 and the PayPal deal is still going on, I may go for it.

They released new versions of Hotline Miami when they released the PS4 version was newest that highlights the Cross Buy support between all three versions instead of just PS3/Vita. Not sure why Child of Light would do that when they're not Cross Buy. Did you get all three for free despite buying one version of Child of Light?

Nope, just the PS4 was listed as free..

Does the "Free" override the PSN+ meaning it's free for life?

Was going to get Pier Solar but the Shop-a-holic trophy is unobtainable at the moment preventing the plat. I'll wait until they fix that and buy it the next time its on sale after.

Grabbed Hotline Miami :ps4: though. 

 
The newest Youtube update on PS3 brings it in line with the PS4 version, which means that it now supports playlists and has a much better interface to go with it.

 
So, is the PS4 version Terraria worth it? I own it PS3 & VITA but never got around to playing it but I'm reading the PS4 version adds content and features and all kinds of stuff. Can anyone who has played the game tell me if it's worth paying for the PS4 version or should I just play the copies I got for free?

 

 
Really tempted by

Anomaly 2 , Chariot, Child of Light, CounterSpy, The Last Tinker, and Pier Solar but they will all almost certainly go straight into my backlog and a few of them seem like good candidates for PS+ this coming year since they seem to be going indie heavy with PS4.  I just got my PS4 recently so do any of you know if sales on these games have popped up before or is this something I should get on?

It is the best price for them so far, I want nocturne and dds2 but I am hesitant because I wonder if they will hit $5 in the future and I won't have time to play them any time soon anyways >.<

I blind bought Nocturne and Persona 4. I'm waiting for DDS1 and 2 to hit $5 someday. By then, the PS3 may be on its way out.

 
Hmm, I worry I made a mistake. I see that it says that Don't Starve: Giants Edition PS4 was on sale, I bought the Don't Starve: Console Edition PS4. That doesn't seem to come with the Reign of Giants level, as I see it as an add-on. It cost the same as the Vita version of Don't Starve though, so I assumed it was the right version. Did I buy the wrong version and miss out on free DLC?

 
I know we complain that we aren't getting that great of a sale this week, but I'm still super-stoked that they finally put out Suikoden II.  (Now that almost all of the great PS1 RPGs are on PSN, we just need all the awesome PS2 RPGs.  (or HD collections of them, please, Konami, Squeenix, Midway, Bamco, and ummm..... I know I'm missing a company, give us them in HD collections)

 
I have an extra Day 1 costumes dlc code for LBP3 (PS4 version).  If any cag here wants it for free I will give it to the first pm I get.

hd versions of the hack series from bandi should have happened like a year ago already. And sorry to break it to the other guy, but the ps3 is on the way out already, disgaea 5 isn't even coming to it. I hate it to but we have maybe 6months more of a decent flow of Japanese games on the ps3 and then that will be nearly it for the ps3.

No. It's only included with the Vita version.
