75% off already for Ryse: Son of Rome PC?

Wow, that was quick.
Nowhere near quick. Gat set a new precedent for speedy discounts. Any discount post launch is now to be considered overdue.

Probably because I don't know who would actually want that game.
It's a AAA console port, so...

It's not a very good game, for what it's worth.
That's unfortunately the other thing that's been holding me back from buying.

If I had a 4GB VRAM card, I'd probably give this a shot for $10.

Right now - meh, I think I can wait until it gets cheaper or Amazon has it on sale for that price or less so I can blow some Bing $.

Basically. Which is why it makes just perfect sense to want it for PC.
I run most PC games at 1080p here.

Ryse PC can run and go up to even 4K.

XB1 version is locked at 900p.

Source for that info:

http://www.eurogamer.net/articles/digitalfoundry-2014-ryse-pc-face-off

Given XB1 supports 900p and PC support up to 4K; and even without w/out discussing PC graphical features that Ryse itself supports and other things you can tweak w/ the NVidia Control Panel - this discussion here is over.

Obviously, if you have the power - PC-version looks like the way to go here.

Is it fun? I passed because it looked boring as all hell
Are You talking about HoI3? If so I have no idea. I haven't played it yet. I like the idea of those big complicated grand strategy or hard core sim games but I don't like actually spending the 20+ hours learning to play them so they mostly just sit in my backlog.

Yeah. I've got limited funds, so I try to only spend them on things I can imagine myself playing. I'm struggling to do so with HoI3 even though, as you note, it's got a great price.

In that case if you can't / don't want to dedicate a lot of time to learning how to play then I would probably avoid it. It is not an easy game to just pick up and play.

I have tried this 25% off Resident Evil Revelations 2 pre-purchase voucher for the complete season with the extras I got from Green man gaming via my email. I type it in when I add to cart but it says it cannot be added. Does anyone know why?

It was specifically FOR RER2?

I couldn't get their standard code to work for the Talos Principle yesterday but I assumed it was exempt from the deal. Maybe there's just an error their end though.

Yes. It was a specific code just for Resident Evil Revelations 2. it said to quote your personal code at checkout. Anyone know what this means? That is what it said to do on my email and that the 25%off one just for the Resi R 2 pre-purchase does not expire until February 4th this Wednesday. I guess I should just try the standard 20% off site voucher then?

I tried my email code and it worked fine. Maybe if your highlighting, copying and pasting, make sure there isn't an erroneous space at the end. Beyond that, not sure what the problem might.

I did not highlight nor copy and paste. Anyways I just used the 20% off voucher instead and that worked. So I missed out on saving an extra approx. $2.00 but I am not complaining any considering I still got a pretty decent discount on it.

I don't think you're going to fit in around here, son.

Played through the first episode of "Life Is Strange". Very engrossing. Strong characters, interesting intro to the story. The time change mechanic is a bit awkward, but I can see how it will be useful and it was integrated fairly well. Story is a bit Twin Peaksish which I really liked. Good soundtrack too. Next episode is in March. I think this has the potential to be a good game.

I can't understand lately how is it possible some new games have already their cards being sold on market before they are even released.

Maybe their devs trying to pull the game cards collectors? Otherwise I don't see that possible.

In my experience, I was able to do that when I got a pre-release copy of a game. I think they dropped because they were already live on Steam before the game's released proper.

Mmm. I asked some people about that days ago, and they told me it is banneable if a user does that, though I'm not sure if they were stating a true 100% fact.
