My monthly high score wouldn't crack the top 10. I'll have to jump on it.

Awesome, and that's my bday too!
Nice! I doubt I'd be able to get in on the awesome Jedi Lucroy bobblehead though since that's limited to the first 4000 ticket packages sold, but I may try to get tickets to bring my son to it.

They're also doing a talking Harry Doyle bobble head on Major League night when Cleveland comes to town in July. Such great promotions from Brewers lately.

Man does it quiet in here when you chumps have snow days and holidays off.  Stop playing games and spending time with your family and entertain us!

Will you have to play this 13 times for all the trophies?

Tennessee has declared a state of emergency due to road conditions, so I'm working from home. Oddly enough I find that I tend to be a bit more productive when I do that.

f2p mobile game Deadman's Cross from square ported to vita. Card battles!

http://youtu.be/os77rDL-IWQ
Sort of. It's a port of the mobile game. The battles consist of sitting and watching while you hold down the fast forward key. You don't have any control over the cards attacks or abilities.

The only way to get the best cards (4 star and above) is through grinding in the PvP arena. Those who play the most get the best cards and do the same in the next round. Basically it's the same top players over and over. Pay to win, mostly.

Everyone else is just fodder.

Well that sounds infinitely less fun. Glad I went ahead and got monster monpiece then.

I guess the dev is now saying The Order takes 8-10 hours on normal.  So the GS thread guys were right on.

http://www.playstationtrophies.org/news/news-15530-The-Order--1886-Takes-Around-8-10-Hours-for-the-Average-Player-to-Complete--Says-Ready-at-Dawn.html

Speaking at an event attended by DualShockers, Ready at Dawn CTO Andrea Pessino reportedly said that an average playthrough of The Order: 1886 on normal difficulty will take between eight and ten hours, while a playthrough on hard will take around 12. So, if true, that would just about bring the game in line with most other narrative-heavy single-player action games.

There aren't any difficulty-completion trophies, so most likely none of us will play The Order on Hard.

Okay? So yeah, I should be able to beat it fairly quickly and then First Light is short as well. 4forFeb here I come!
I'll probably need to swap in the order for 4forFeb and move infamous 2 to my bonus column. I still have like 40 races in most wanted to rock out too! But hopefully I'll finish Amy this week and at least have two down.

Was anyone able to redeem their free "The Order 1886" theme from the store? I got a code from that site where you click around but it said the 17th it would be available and now I still can't redeem it.

It feels like it was just yesterday when Sony announced the February Plus games and now we (hopefully) should expect to see March's lineup next Thursday.

Polygon gave Citizens of Earth an 8.0 playing the PS4 version.  I gave it a 5.5 playing the Vita version.  I don't think crashes can account for a 3.5 (arbitrary) gap.  I don't think I saw one complaint in the short review, which read more like a summary of features then a critical account.

But did they use paragraphs?

It's 2.5. #oldmath

They did.

And thanks to you assholes I made a conscious effort to use more in my review.

I find the longer a paragraph, the more my mind starts to wander / the harder it is to keep my place while reading it. Breaking up bigger paragraphs so that it is one sub-topic or idea per paragraph also makes it easier to skip over sections of a review if it doesn't apply to me. Whenever I'm writing something (whether it is a review or just a forum post), if I think a paragraph looks kind of long and there is an organic breaking point, then I'll

go ahead and do it.

The Telltale Collection is updated--$44 (discounted from $110). Worth it? I actually don't have any of those on PS4 yet... :whistle2:k

EDIT: Looks like all the prices are up now. $6 for Child of Light. $7.49 for Hohokum. Can't see the price for OlliOlli.
Looks like they aren't all updated. Some of them are located in the ps plus discount section but the plus discount haven't been added.

I tended to just put whole sections as one paragraph. So almost all gameplay talk in one, all graphics/art/sound in one. All story stuff in one. All mechanics in one. But I can see how that can make things harder to read, so I started to break them up more with my Citizens of Earth review.

The site owner/editor doesn't really give any feedback on my reviews besides "make the recommendation clearer", so I actually no-joke no-yellow-text appreciate any feedback y'all give me, good or bad. Some of the reviews from other people on the site are hard to read because of bad pacing and sentence structure and whatnot, so I want to make sure mine are as good as they can be.

I'm confused--does the Telltale Collection page indicate that I wouldn't be getting the rest of Tales from the Borderlands and Game of Thrones as their episodes are released? It says "Season Pass required for Tales from the Borderlands and Game of Thrones".

So if I am reading that right, the telltale bundle is the complete WD S1+2, Wolf Among Us S1, and E1 of Tales from Borderlands and Game Of Throne as it says "Season Pass required for Tales from the Borderlands and Game of Thrones." That's pretty fuck ing shady. So since the first episodes of their series generally go free anyway eventually, it's really only a WD and Wolf Among Us bundle.

If so, I'm less inclined to get that because I have a physical copy of TWAU S1 and don't have much interest in GoT.

Stolen from Frisky

Critics' Choice Sale: https://store.sonyen...RITICCHOICESALE

Aksys 10th Anniversary Sale: https://store.sonyen...77008-AKSYSSALE

Focus Home Interactive Sale: https://store.sonyen...8-FOCUSHOMESALE

I agree with Pancakes. Focus sale looks best so far.  I am not sure all prices are updated yet? But I will probably get Blue Estate and Final Exam (if the price goes below $5) at least.  Maybe Magrunner too since its $1.49 and apparently has a quick and easy plat.

Might as well get Magus while you're at it.

Was this the cheapest Blue Estate has been or was it cheaper the other time it was on sale?
