This thread will attempt to provide a place to discuss past/present/future PC gaming deals. While mainly focusing on Steam games, any standout sales may also be presented. I will not be updating every Daily/Weekly/etc. sale. The tools to help individuals become a smarter shopper will be provided below.

Why not?

EA had both Origin + Steam-versions for some games in Origin Humble Bundle 1 - i.e. Dead Space, C&C Red Alert 3 Uprising, Burnout Paradise, Mirror's Edge, Medal of Honor (2010), and Crysis 2: Maximum.

It's not like ME1+2 are Origin-exclusive games, either. They're older titles from EA that came before BF3 started the EA-Origin exclusive stuff.

My box only contained the sealed Temple of Osiris case and nothing else, not even a packing slip.  Guess someone neglected to add in the slip and Season Pass card.  The nice Amazonian I chatted with is sending me a new game + season pass since she said she can't send the season pass by itself.  Go figure.

Oh, I didn't know there was an actual bundle already for LC: Osirus + Season Pass!

That's crap that the SP wasn't included there.

Extra copy of the base-game - sweet!

It better have the damn SP in there, or else this'll be deja vu for you; and you'd have to bug Amazon again.

Same problem, just sent them an email because it activated as the base game only. I don't know how they can fix this without just refunding people. I was looking at the box and it doesn't mention anything about the season pass.

Why doesn't Amazon just give gamers w/ this issue a free Season Pass key from the Amazon Digital Side?

The way this going, if people keep getting re-sent copies of the game missing the SP, this could get stuck into an loop until Amazon runs out of copies of this damn thing or this person finally get a Season Pass in the box.

Now, just imagine the loop if Amazon had an infinite supply of LC Osirus + SP boxes missing the Season Pass...

I honestly think none of these packages will include the season pass, but I guess we will see...they just created a replacement order for it.
 
I've been playing Carmageddon Reincarnation...

Yes, the game is poorly optimized, but with my specs, i3 2100 + AMD 6870 + 8Gb RAM, it ran "good" at 1280 resolution.

The game is AMAZING. Is everything I hoped it to be and even more. They really did a good job keeping the spirit of the originals and the gameplay is a blast, really. Can't wait to try it online!

I hope they start doing some optimization soon, because that is the only bad thing about it. Also, I hope they don't abandon the project (they'll be really really stupid) because it is a true gem, I'm loving it so far.

Well, they said that now that all content is pretty much out, they can focus on optimizing the game (which is why it's in beta now). So hopefully, they can get that sorted out.

 
For some random reason I decided to login to my Telltale account, and I noticed I own the entire Season 2 of Sam and Max, and all the episodes of Back to the Future. I had gotten a single episode of both as part of 2 separate promos on their website a while back, so that's nice, even though I already own them elsewhere.

Not disagreeing with you but this Lara Croft blunder was their physical side. They should have their shit together there at least. I mean for the whole 6 people in America who still mail order boxed PC games and all.

 
My guess is that the 'bundle' was supposed to come with both the physical base game case w/ key inside and also the physical Season Pass activation card.  But they messed up and are/were only sending out the base game case.  BTW, I know that's a link to buy the code directly but the photo is of the card.

If they screw it up a second time, I'll just request a refund and have a free copy of LC & ToO, I guess.  Or two free copies.

At least they tried to help you.

I contacted Amazon CS and they didn't know what I was talking about. First the gave me $100 Amazon Credit. Then when I explained the issue again, they shipped me a PS4 with a Download card for the game and season pass. THAT'S NOT WHAT I WANTED! Can't they just fix their mess up?

FYI, I have a boxed copy of the PS4 version of Lara + Season Pass. There's only one code inside that activates both the game and the DLC. Even the description of the PC product says it "includes one Product Key Card" so I don't think you're missing anything physically. My guess is that your code is not activating the right package on Steam, and you might want to send an email to Square-Enix with your proof of purchase.

Also, I know Squeenix but Quantum Conundrum Season Pass is $1.92 with that voucher.

The neat thing about the Season Pass is that it comes with the game as well as 2 DLCs that are $3 each separately, and a $5 Soundtrack DLC. Since I can't imagine that any of the DLCs would be included in a Squeenix Humble, I figured pulling the trigger was worth it.

So when Quantum Conundrum's in the $1-tier of the Squeenix Bundle 3, you know who to thank. :bouncy:

 
Man, Quantum Conundrum actually looks like a game I would play, and that's a pretty sweet deal but I don't really want to spend money. 

Somebody get me a job...please?

 
Quantum Conundrum was okay but most of its appeal came from John de Lancie's voice over. The game itself... eh.

I thought Quantum Conundrum was fun, but I know some people complained about some of the first person platforming parts in it.
