On another note, is there a way to check when Google Play credit expires? I'm up to $10 from the Google surveys and don't want to see them suddenly disappear.

 
Ridiculous. The Amazon app store takes up almost 400mb on my Shield Tablet (it had been almost 700mb before I cleared its data) yet only 25mb on my phone! What?

Besides clearing data, you may want to use something like Clean Master if you aren't already. Both the Amazon and Humble Bundle apps don't do a good job of cleaning up after they install things (remaining APKs being the biggest offender, of course).

I already do/use both methods, but I appreciate the advice. I think it's just crazy how much resources Amazon uses for their app store.

Looks like Galaxy Trucker got a 40% price cut to 2.99 from 4.99. Should be permanent and from all reports is a great adaptation of the ($75!) board game.

damn really? I just bought it 2 days ago figuring it wouldnt drop for another couple months on android. Oh well just have to wait for some more surveys

The comments don't seem to mention that. I saw a few people say "It works great on my phone" and "Exceptional on Sony Experia Z3". So it must work for other devices, besides Kindle Fires. Unless it recently changed that with an update. There's also no mention of Kindle Fire only anywhere in the description or the comments.

Maybe it's another screwy compatibility checker on Amazon.

Probably better off with the Google Play edition anyway. :p

You could be right about the compatibility checker. I have a Note 3, and have not had an issue with anything I've thrown at it, so whenever I see something listed as incompatible through Amazon, I just assume it's Fire only.

It's in Mazes section. It will say it costs $1.99, but it will be free in the checkout.

Classic and Mazes (the 35th Anniversary Map Pack) are free to play. The one that says PLAY, is some tournament and that has limited free play. After using up your tokens, you must either buy tokens with real money or wait 10 hours or so.

Also, I don't now if I stumbled upon a glitch, but it looks like I am getting no ads now.

I installed it again and I clicked on Restore Purchases in the Shop section. Since then I haven't gotten any ads. When I first installed it and played it for a bit I was plagued with ads.

No ads...so far :)

Do you have the link to the G5 page that shows the free/sale games? I had it bookmarked but lost it when I reset my tablet. Did a search and saw a sale page but this game isn't listed, so guessing I have the wrong page on the G5 site.

Also, the google play version of this game seems to be broken, crashes on startup on my nexus 7. The amazon version works perfectly though...had to unlock the full version from inside the game though.

I never did see it posted on the G5 page. I just saw someone mention it on the Amazon forums.

I have the appsales app. Is there any site or app that shows discounts on iaps preferably only on non free to play games. I am not looking for deals on stuff like currencies but it would be nice to know when expansions, levels, or npcs get a sale in some of the bigger more polished games.

For example right now I have an urge to starting an evil play through of Baldur's Gate but the best evil fighter is an iap I haven't made and in the truest CAG tradition I would like to wait for a discount on it.

They used to put the weekly G5 freebie on the http://www.g5e.com/sale page, but it doesn't appear to be there now. Looks like they just have it on their main page http://www.g5e.com/ now. It's in the upper right part of the page where it says "HOT DEALS!". It cycles through the different deals.

Now I'm doubly glad I never bought Shadow Blade. On my nVidia Shield Tablet there are no controls. The menus work, but upon starting the first level the character just stands there with no way to move him. Neither control scheme works.
 
I was planning on finally trying out the Kingdom Rush Origins and Kingdom Rush Frontiers that I got for free on Amazon (FAOTD) and I just noticed that they are not compatible with any of my Android devices? Are these only for Amazon Fire devices?

That sucks. Looks like they were offered in past Humble Bundles, but I passed them up thinking I already had them.

Hmm, thinking of giving Spellcrafter a try but being penalized with weaker spells for not drawing the signs is really unappealling. Why would you enforce something like that?

You must have spent some between then and now. Promotional coins expire the latter of one year from earning or spending them. Even if you only spent one from the promotion.

I have...but there was some confusion regarding wording in Amazon's ToS (two different areas had two different interpretations of what would happen when 1 year from original coin issuance rolled arround). So just wanted to clear up that (so far) it's not strictly 1 year from issuance....

Game sucks IMO. I have the iOS version and it's dull. No story just battle to battle and the spells can be a pain. I'd pass if I were you.

And that Humble Bundle is pretty lackluster. Have a few of the games already and the others are blah.

Lame. I had like 600 expire in November/December last year and I was certain I bought something before then to extend the expiration date. Because of that I wasted like 4500 coins over the weekend on a ton of games I won't even play
 
So somehow that not even Overhaul support can explain all of my save game files for the Baldur's Gate game with Sixth Level characters where I literally just dual classed two of them got deleted but the folders are still there. Every single save I had gone.

So given that's killed my drive to play any Infinity Engine games for a bit as I wanted to import my BG 1 character into 2 when I finished, does anyone have any other recommendations for a deep isometric rpg in that sort of vein or Shadowrun Returns style? Preferably with graphics at least on par with those two. The Spiderweb games I just can't bring myself to play.

What I wouldn't give for Fallout ports right now. Where's Good Old PC to Android Games...

Conquest Medieval Realms is part of pay what you want on humble bundle right now. I can confirm a penny works. Too bad Qvadriga doesn't include the Android version or I might have bit at the $6 level.
