Weird. The guys feedback doesn't show much selling and he has only 1 other item for sale.

Maybe he went and bought them all on ebay last year when the first came out and thought after almost a year he would be able to sell them for like 5K each and didn't work out for him. He paid like $2000 US for each one if what he says is true (but I'm guessing he lied and paid substantially less)

It is odd that they are focusing on the zombies theme when zombies AFAIK will have nothing to do with the majority of the game. I wonder if there will be a different non-zombie themed CE announced also.

But if that fridge works, this could be a (somewhat) practical expensive CE. :D

I'll split it with my brother just for the interesting mini fridge for my office hehehehehehe. He can have the season pass and stuff I'll take the steelbokk and fridge and art.
 
That minifridge is batshit crazy.... and I want it.  Holds 12 cans, so it's not going to be huge, but will be substantial.  I predict all kinds of stupid shenanigans with these things breaking and being shipped on their side etc.  Although for a fridge that small, keeping them upright might not be an issue.

If it holds 12 cans, you probably need to stack them in there.  That translates to probably 6 homebrew beer bottles.

I will put it next to my toilet.  Gotta have refreshing beverages when pooping!

Sucks that he's in financial trouble, but no way in hell is anyone going to pay for 15 items that average almost double the market value (not including shipping). If any "investor" wants to buy this they should immediately contact me so I can sell them my 8 gamecubes for $500.

It's a good thing I wasn't really into the first game, now I don't have to worry about trying to absorb the cost of this CE...

 
Wow. Three CE's announced today and it's not even lunch time. That Mirror's Edge CE is very nice looking - but a bit out of my price range - even w/ GCU.

EDIT: That statue makes me feel sad. (I realize it is based on story context, but I cannot help my internal feels.)

Damn, that's nice and I really liked the first game but... $200 is a huge pill to swallow. It seems like there are few CEs these days but they cost astronomically more.

that is just a weird decision, seeing the first mirror's edge was a failure financially , now with the reboot they want $199.99. LOL

they should of made a CE for starwars battlefront. for $199.99. that would of sold like hot cakes

Nothing in this CE screams worthy of 200$ to me. Should have been 130$ tops, 150$ if that statue is DaVinci quality.

Also lol at 2 temporary tattoos, seems like they were reaching for stuff to throw in. I feel like one of the only CE's this year to live up to its price tag will be the Witcher's

An AT-AT walker statue would have killed it. I'd pay $200 for a good CE with a quality AT-AT statue. And they could have even done an AT-ST "mid-range" CE as well. fuck, I would probably by both if they did that.

it all depends on the quality of the statue.  The post pandemic tlou statue was extremely impressive so it's a shame so few people got their hands on it.  this, judging by the price, seems like it'll be up to par with it, and given that the CE looks like it'd only be $80 without it, it might be a good jump in quality compared to triforce's recent stuff.  If it goes up on best buy I'm PO-ing it, this could be a gem.  Or it could be clearanced out 4 months after release, you never know do you?  :D/

But that Mirror's Edge CE comes with less stuff than Destiny's Ghost Edition and $50 more? Only EA man.

I really don't get the collection of statues thing.  Do people out there really have shelves and shelves of a hodgepodge of different video game statues on display in their houses?  I'd like to see some pictures if you do!  I'm having trouble visualizing a nice display.

Yeah I love it when people say "oh well I spent $2000 on these." As if that makes it okay.

I still can't believe some dumbass thought it would be a good idea to go out there and buy up a bunch of 400% markup hot items on release week and think that it was a smart idea.

I preordered the mirror's edge catalyst CE for PS4.  The original was one of my favorites and while that price is terrible I know it's something I would be upset I didn't get later.  I'll cancel my gamestop order if best buy comes through though.  Saving forty dollars would be really great on this.

I think a statue + steelbook + artbook + misc. trinkets combo should be in the $150 range, but it seems like Witcher 3 is the only reasonably priced statue CE that I have seen in a while.

Don't know about the other guys, I use two high shelves. One for western themed statues and the other for Japanese theme figures. Also some small figures scattered around the open cabinets where I keep my consoles. Some on my computer desk which gets knocked over constantly. You do not need any special organization to make it look nice in my opinion. You might use the traditional paintings/trinkets to decorate your house, but I think statues and cloth maps are way cooler.

Lately have been moving a lot to my office because I am running out of room. When my office mates ask for a file on my computer, I take out the soulstone :) (SWFU2 USB stick was lowballed off to another CAG).

A few days late, but here we go.

- Destiny has good mechanics and looks good. The game suffers from huge content cuts, lack of story, being published by Hacktivision, Bungie being a shell of their former selves, and Sony exclusive content when content is already scarce.
- The Taken King PS4 is nice, but I'd rather have the Arkham Knight one if I were to ever get one.
- The Mirror's Edge CE is an absolute joke. Between the price and crumby statue, its not worth it. The steelbook is sweet. Doesn't matter too much anyway as the game is gonna suck since they're taking out guns and making it open world. The open world aspect isn't TOO bad though, I guess.
- The Black Ops 3 CE is sweet. I could care less about the game seeing as its afully become Titan-less TitanFall, but I want that fridge.

I think I'm all caught up.
