Nice my still haven't shipped from amazon.fr yet, first because of payment issue and than because I cancelled the game with steelbook. I am fine with the wait as long as I get it though.

It would have been awesome if they included two disc slots, I would have put Ground Zeroes in there too. Since the steelbook says MGS V on the spine - might as well put the whole saga in there...

I don't know but he already shipped. I think maybe he's a dealer and was suppose to give it to his customer but kept it all to himself. Who knows but I am gonna get my steelbook.

The European CE steelbook got 2 disk holders, otherwise it was the same design too. Also their diamond dogs emblem on the CE box can be taken off and be used as a fridge magnet. Once again NA gets screwed.

Is steel book on ebay UK the one that can hold two discs? And is it the same size as BD cases or DVD ceses?

Haven't really followed the import scene in a while...

Yes... it's not easy though. And you'll basically have to find a steelbook with two slots to swap. And requires softening the glue with boiling or a heat gun.

Glad to hear some people are getting their PS4s with undamaged boxes.  Mine (with most expensive shipping) is also set to be waiting for me today when I get home from work.  *Fingers Crossed*

 
Off topic but does anyone know if theres a way for PS3 Ground Zeroes transfer to the PS4 GZ?
I played the PS3 version long ago during my GameFly rental. Since I have the PS4 version free from PS Plus, I wondering if theres a way to transfer the save file to that so I can transfer to my PS4 Phantom Pain.

 
The mgs console showed up today with the cheap shipping? Mine is supped to show up today with the fastest...

Did I waste 15 or so dollars? Oh well, just happy to have it ordered.

Pretty much. I did too. I went back and looked at my original order confirmation e-mail and the estimated delivery date for the fastest shipping that I ordered was Sept 2-3, so I can't be too upset since it's right there. Looks like the cheaper shipping guys are just getting a good deal.

You both should call Amazon and ask for refunds. $15 bucks is $15 bucks.

 
Just received my MGS console.  Fastest shipping option.  HORRIBLE packaging.  Just some paper thrown in the box.  Console box was ripped on top and large dent on bottom corner.  The inside contents looks OK, but still not acceptable. 

 
Yeah Amazon.it and .fr and even .co.uk have some of the worst packaging problems I've ever seen.  They're even worse than GAME in my experience.  Had 2 out of maybe 10 packages that came unscathed.  Don't think I'd chance getting a console from them personally.  Stinks for all you who didn't get one in the condition you expected though :(

Didn't even get one. The wife and I were managing our 8 month old while enjoying the show and only went on Sunday/Monday this year. Didn't even know TR prints were a thing.

Someone else mentioned a PP CE on Amazon? What the heck is that?

Considering they paid for the fastest shipping, and some of paid for the slowest, and we all are receiving our consoles on the same day, yea, those that paid extra should call.

Haven't played a MGS since the PS1 games, and definitely lamenting the fact that there's been pages of babble on this, but I'm sure others feel the same way when there's a game I DO like being ranted about too, so until we get some more announcements about retailers for XCX, we'll have to endure. :)

Also, it could be cause of UPS. They might have just made it easier on themselves processing them at the same time, instead of 3 shipments.

Edit: I get it. It sucks if you paid extra to ensure you got it today when others didn't have to pay extra. But it's crossing into the entitled mentality to complain that you got what you paid for.

Edit 2: Not trying to add fuel to the fire with this one, but Chase actually revised my actual charge down to $403.76.

Limited edition consoles are now being purchased and imported with ease all the way from France and getting delivered straight to your doorstep just a few days after the game's release date all while basically paying no price premium.   It's sickening to hear people complain about that kind of service.  GFY millennials.  Spoiled, entitled little shits.

My Fidelity Amex (Fia Card Services) got revised too, but in the other direction.

It went from ~$408 to $416 with the medium shipping speed.

I'm not using them again (at least not on foreign transactions.. I do like getting 2% back on everything).

Yes.

This thread has completely dislodged itself. It's like everyone from the amiibo threads came over here. This is supposed to be a thread for posting finds. Everyone is posting about their shipping, arrivals, updates on their orders, etc... it's nothing new. The 40 people before them already gave the update, the 41st update on the arrival of a the MGS CE or console isn't necessary.

Please, make a MGS thread. It's impossible to follow this thread for CE's anymore with so much MGS fan chat.

There were lots of CE preorders that opened up for this week that were pushed back in the thread quickly due to this discussion. Even Juggernog was available for an hour this week but no one would notice an fluctuation in posts on this thread due to constant MGS chatter.
