I was just going to get green yarn yoshi but I'm finding it hard to resist the cuteness lol. If I do buy the blue and pink, it'll be somewhere more reliable. Won't be buying doubles of them, but I would like to have an open green yarn yoshi. Hope they release him individually fast.

I'm not sure if you understand what you are reading. Don't the Target numbers show the blue one to be about like the 8-bit Mario (if not less)? Tons of people here weren't able to get that one. I know in my town if you went to a store 1 hour after Best Buy opened you were SoL, and if Target and TRU got any they were gone within 5 minutes of the doors opening.

But who knows what the other stores ordered, and even if it is rare here the prices to import the Yarn Yoshi's have seemed much more reasonable than importing virtually any other amiibo, I guess cause of the MSRP mark-up in NA? I dunno lol.

At first glance I thought Amazon had shipped these safely but after removing from box I saw otherwise. Box so wide and long (which sacrificed mid section integrity for such small items) but just about an inch above the bubble of zero suit & both bubbles were crushed in crinkling the plastic. No choice but to open them now but at least the figures themselves seem to be unharmed.

So is Star Fox's delay going to impact the Falco amiibo?  Or the rumored reprint of the Fox amiibo?

And lol at the articles saying this is WiiU's death..... yeah, the delay of Starfox did it.  It had nothing to do with region locking, the absence of a true account system, or the absence of basic features such as voice chat, achievements, and invites..... not even the fact that NoA has been treating us like shit lately.  No, Starfox's delay did it.  Because it's better for Nintendo to release unfinished shit than to be responsible, take their time, and fix the issues.

Wow walked into my local TRU and they had probably around 50 Bowser JRs left. Had no idea he was as easy to get as Dr. Mario. I was gonna give up on amiibo, but it finally looks like they are getting easy to find, so I will stick with it. Picked one up.

He's not, several here reported not being able to get him. The high school dropouts at my local store let some bitch buy 30+ to clear out their stock around 6 or so Friday, screwing over a lot of people. Luckily I got my hands on 1 but I had to go out of my way to do it, and the other collector I talk to in our area wasn't so lucky.

I'm gonna keep an eye on CL/ebay to see if they appear there, this is probably the same fucker that bought out the Meta Knights the two times our store actually got them in stock. The other collector offered to flood every fucking post she makes with so many fake offers to buy/meet that she'll never unload them locally lol. It's a nice idea at any rate.....

Yeah, seems like Target and TRU have been pretty good with store exclusives this wave. Hopefully that trend continues and BB gets on board with it.

I wonder if amiibo cards (not necessarily these AC ones) will be sold at comic book stores etc like ccg/tcg packs.  if they are that means it might be possible to other wholesale.  although I imagine it's much harder now than it was when yugioh cards came out as someone's dad was able to order boxes of packs.

I asked my local comic shop if they'd be carrying them and they said no because their supplier wouldn't have them or something like that. Seems like it could happen at some stores though.

Yikes, that's insane!

I'll probably pick up a couple packs every now and then, but I'm not even gonna try to complete my set like I do with the regular amiibo... Even if you did a lot of trades you'd still wind up spending close to a grand trying to collect them all. Not worth it in the slightest to me, not for cards.
 
I just added a new row to the collection (5AB and individual Squid are the new additions). I'm just missing that Modern Mareio, to complete my NA collection. Anyone's collection in the same position as mine (just missing MM)? My closet's top shelf is running out of space, jeez. I wonder where, I'll put the new ones up, hmmm?

I am having a hard time convincing myself to get Chibi Robo. It would be the first amiibo I don't buy.

I just, the game looks okay but essentially it'd be 40 dollars for an amiibo. I'd never buy the game if it didn't have one.

Could always buy and trade the game asap. Could probably knock it down to about 20$ or less for the figure depending on the values.

Also the Amiibo card thing is insane. The only way I'd ever consider it was if buying a sealed box guaranteed a whole set, even then thats just too much when I'm not even an Animal Crossing fan. I get the feeling they are just gonna end up like E-Reader Cards, or Kid Icarus packs.

My local Target has NOT received any of the restock yet..went today and nothing..is it possible for some targets to not get any restock? As far as Gamestop is concerned I really dont understand why I cant order anything from them. Went to the store today and had no problem purchasinig destiny taken king and trading in my old destiny, but as far as online it wont let me. They told me I am not blocked from their site but I tried again this morning to order Classic Mario and Zero Suit and received the same exact message that I got last night so I Really just dont get it

No other countries got the option for bundle or single of Chibi-Robo.... While here in NA were once again given the buy the bundle or wait in fear that the amiibo will not come out individually.... Like SMS Mario, Green Wholly Yoshi, Modern Mario, and now Chibi-Robo

The Target nearest to me is a City Target..is it possible they just wont get any stock? A few targets have already gotten them(Plenty actually) but the one closest to me has not..they told me today they get shipments everyday so just not sure what to think

It won't be complete without Dark Bowser, Dark DK, along with the regular skymiibo Bowser and DK and their vehicles.

Nah, thanks bro! You kind of sound like one of those little kids/tweens from Reddit who say "free the amiibo" because, someone has a NIB collection instead, of a OoB collection. I already have the characters I like/use out of the box so, yeah. I mean, it's my money I can do whatever I want with it so there's that, maybe if you would have bought them for me, I would've opened all of them up lol. I don't think I'm going to collect those SKYamiibo or AC cards, TBH. I'm also going to add the individual (from Europe) and bundle packs (Retro and mii characters) to the collection, once they're out, I'm that dedicated to "new in box", lol. Also, OoB collections are too main-stream for my taste and it seems way more effortless than a NA+"NiB" collection.

 
Was at my local City Target earlier today and was surprised to see 3 ZSS and 3 Olimar there. Guess they had a restock there as they weren't there a couple of days ago.

Maybe thats a good sign then..I will go to the City Target tomorrow since I will be in the area..is the Brick Seek site reliable because its been saying a Target about 25 min from me has plenty of these amiibos in stock but I know someone who was there just an hour ago and they havent received their shipment yet so doesnt make sense
