What are the chances NBA 2k15 will be lower than $15 in the winter sale?
crystal_ball.jpg

No way to tell.. but it's gone down to 12 bucks a couple of times according to IsThereAnyDeal... so I'd say pretty decent... but who knows.... maybe there'll be a 2K bundle.

Trying to log in now because I want to play it, but... waiting...
Welcome to the waiting club.

EDIT:

And Dorito Pope called-out Konami for not allowing Kojima to attend TVGA for MGS5: TPP winning Best Action/Adventure Game.

I honestly don't know who is choosing the awards or much of the specifics of the show, but I gotta say, I'm enjoying the show. It's come a long way since the awful Spike TV days *shivers*
OH! It's those same awards but without Spike TV? I'm honestly surprised they are still around and have any sort of legitimacy.

Is Axiom Verge worth getting for $14? I've heard great things so I assume the answer is "yes" but if it's going to drop even further during the Winter Sale I can wait. I almost bought it last week, so this might be a sign...
Rumor has it that fall sale prices and winter sale prices will remain the same. Not sure how low it fell during fall sale, but that should be a good indication.

It's hosted by PewDiePie and YogFatSloth with special musical guest Coralmundo.
I've fallen behind on my Pieing.

CD Projekt RED gets Developer of the Year (for Witcher 3).
Seriously? I feel like a dev should need at least two games to win, otherwise it's basically just the GOTY award.

i took a chance an got it for ps4 since i had credit an feel it worth it, but since you're on the fence wait for a sale. the graphics look poor but are actually very well done.

when playing they blend into the game surreal atmosphere very well. it like playing super metriod, you start with nothing then get 1 gun then 2,3, slow each time unlocking little bit more of the world too explore.

the controls while simple at first respond really well too every action, { like how super meaty boys is } so it worth buying at around 50% off if you want to wait, Thu am happy with what i paid around $14.

New Telltale 3-part mini-series TWD game announced.
I'm excited about it, but I think they teased or announced the Michonne mini series before today.

Well, guess what?

The Witcher 3 also took home Game of the Year + Best RPG.
See, that just sort of makes it redundant. I mean it is the GOTY so it should get Best RPG logically, but it'd have to be miles and miles better than any other game to also warrant dev of the year based on one game. I'm gonna go complain somewhere online.

MGS5: TPP did not win the GOTY...

...but they took home both Best Action-Adventure + Best Soundtrack.
It didn't even have a fuck ing soundtrack just meme 80s music.

Why am I getting worked up over vidya awards run by nobodies, that nobody cares about? Oh right because I am a fuck ing idiot who got tricked into playing Kojima's Folly for 100 something fuck ing hours.

Shoot me.

What's next Telltale Freedom Poopy? Telltale Air Control? Telltale Titty Mahjong? Telltale RPGMaker? Telltale Generic Unity Asset Flip but hey it has cards #3,847?
Telltale Tell Tales: an adventure game about telling stories to an audience, members of which are [A] humping your leg, not paying attention and are just there to say they were, or [C] fed up with your bullshit and leaving the room, where as the game progresses, the audience is increasingly composed of element c, adding extra poignancy to your tale.

More seriously I wouldn't be surprised to see Telltale Indie Game: The Movie: The Game.

Because reasons.

So I have no idea what's going on but I still haven't received my code. I contacted CDKeys and they said that I paid for the subscription using Skrill and that the funds haven't been released to them. They suggested I contact Skrill except I used PayPal to pay for it. Not only that but the transaction has gone through and the money is out of my account. I have no idea where the money is and no idea what Skrill is or how it links to me using PayPal. Anyone know?

I've contacted Skrill in the meantime to see if maybe they will know but as far as I can tell, they are a separate entity from PayPal.
That's what you get when you make a deal with the Devil, dude.
Cool, thanks.

As it turns out they were looking up the wrong e-mail address because my PayPal e-mail is different. Once they figured that out, I got my code no problem. But I lost my soul so that sucks.

Lego Marvel Avengers from TellTale announced.
Negative! :shame:

It's by Traveler's Tales -- the guys that do all the LEGO games.

I'm looking forward to it as I enjoyed 100%'ing the previous LEGO Marvel game. It might be their best LEGO game.

By the way... the Killing Floor 2 update that adds the marketplace is out. I got a drop for a weapon skin and already sold one for $3 instantly.

It adds a gunslinger (dual pistols), two new maps, and other crap too, but none of that pays you $$ to play the game like the crates/usb blueprints do. Go profit, CAG!

ur l8. madjoki posted about it during the autumn sale.. it's why so many CAGs were buying it back then, including myself.

I don't see why they cant just make a new anthology without the Duke Nukem games though, if that's the reason it's "limited"
"Right now, I can't reveal any plans for 2016. Some of our games will remain available on Steam, but due to changes in ownership in some of them, the Anthology will not be sold.

Games like Alien Carnage will probably not be set up for sale as these games are essentially freeware. In the Anthology version, we've packaged them so that they work out of the box. We don't believe in selling games that are freely available, but we might consider creating another bundle that will include them."

Might be time for a bro $ night where we play Killing Floor 2 and that dino game that drops the $100 skins and Flowette gets on Discord and gives us financial advice but no one understands a word he says because he sounds like My Fair Lady.

Brodate:

We played turbotoycarsturbocartoysturbo.  It's in a humble bundle right now.

It's like some micro machines game where you race toy cars in toy environments and there are power ups and junk it has one mode for online MP which is elimination and at first I was all like man is this wack to just have one mode but i's pretty fun after all since the different stages/cars make for some variety and we ended up playing like 3 hours with various people jumping in and out fun with friends and id recommend it next week we have some games probably a game I chose but I dont remember actually now I remember it is contagion since the bros abandoned me the first time i tried hosting a game night and then we also have some other game and that free soccer game hitler loved coming up and if you managed to read all that you are cool

Don't forget, Grid Autosport is also next week!

Hopefully this theoretical bundle will actually have some sort of discount for owning previous games.

We've replaced Fox's regular instant coffee with pure methamphetamine crystals. Let's see if he notices the difference...

Is it really his folly if he wasn't allowed to complete the game? I heard there was a third of the game just... not there.
I think a lot of this is internet speculation and rumors and Kojima's unearned troll mystique. Structurally, the game mirrors the previous game, Peace Walker, almost perfectly except for the lack of a post-game final boss. There ARE prototype cutscenes for a cut final boss (That evoke a scenario far more ridiculous and complicated than anything in the base game so it is incredibly unlikely those prototypes would have EVER resembled reality even in the best case.)

The plot was already a loose, unfocused mess of what they had. There was very little room for them to make another third of the game. It was already built up as "main game->post game." They would need to go MonHun style remake to add in new tiers and a whole new story to add anything else to the end.

We're never going to know everything that went on behind the scenes. But Kojima has been busting the budget on stupid crap that adds nothing to the game since MGS2. I think it's equally unfair to blame Konami for finally after a decade of putting up with him to finally say "No, ship something. You are dreaming too big. We need something we can complete." I refuse to say either way who is at fault here.

My allegiance is against Kojima just for trolling me with MGS2 and then meta-trolling me constantly for nearly a decade with mouth-breathers constantly claiming MGS2 was a work of brilliance. The former I don't mind so much, of course, but the latter is inexcusable.

But my allegiance then makes it easy for me to postulate Kojima upturned desks and flipped people off when they said he can't spend six trillion to write another midgame tangent about incest or butterflies or whatever he read about that week.

All I have to say about the Video Game Awards is... Jade Raymond.

I don't watch things with Geoff Keighley, so I skipped that award show. Someone PM me with evidence if she was topless. But not if she made another Assassin's Creed game.

I bet her husband chokes her during sex and screams, "WHY DID YOU MAKE ASSASSIN'S CREED 1 SO SLOWWWWW?"

Also, Kojima is the Asian Tim Schafer and we should stop talking about him before he writes about how ignorant we are in his next 2derp4merp game.

I just finished Undertale true ending.

It's excellent. Not perfect but very very good. I would recommend it to literally every single human being. I cannot even imagine the person who wouldn't enjoy it unless they were pickier than me by several orders of magnitude*. I expected every stupid indie pitfall and I was pleasantly surprised at every turn.

Just a shame the fanbase is full of tumblrite morons.

*That said I'm a cheap date. A game just has to be good and I'll be all over it.

Orlygift is now giving away AAA games. They are giving away a whole whopping one copy per 80 gazillion people that enter for an entire 24 hours.

If you don't win the single solitary copy of Fallout 4 today don't worry, they are giving a single solitary copy of Just Cause 3 out tomorrow. Isn't that great?

I could go for some Telltale Toilet Tycoon Story. Telltale Tales from Euro Trucking would also be acceptable, though I doubt it'd have the proper amount of fat, glory holes, or amphetamine usage.

Sweet. More games to +1 and then -1!

This requires Epic Games Launcher/client.
I'd rather buy Shadow Complex on Steam than get it for free on some shitty required client that I've never heard of. Not sure what they were thinking.

We've already got Steam, Origin, and Uplay, we don't need another client.
