Got up to 332. Thanks to paypal not letting me buy anymore bestbuy gc (I only bought 75 wtf) Next time I'll try not to flip right before a promo ends but that's usually when other cags post flippable games lol. Lesson learned

Oh AND thanks all cags. Sometimes you make my backlog worse than it already is but got rid of some today

Dammit just noticed the Just Dance 360 and Wii flips, can't believe I missed a double there, oh well already cleared my inventory, no point in doing 2 small trades, till next time GS

Last noob question from me (I promise). Can you convert GS credit into Paypal credit? If so how?
Buy stuff in store, sell it online for paypal.

Officially from corporate the only gift card you can't use store credit on is visa gift cards. Anything else should be fair game.

The system will allow it but any employee caught allowing the purchase of visa cards with store credit will get written up or fired.

I always wondered, can an employee put a flag on your account or is that only corporate?

That will be lovely on a future survey. "Employee was so nice and let me ring up a visa gift card with store credit! Thank you employee!"

well, i didnt buy much to flip, but i did get rid of most of the best buy DOTD games ive bought over the last couple months. between these last couple phantom bump weekends plus 50% bonus i now have my PS VR paid off and enough to get a neo (assuming its under $500) with still some trades pending on amazon and about $50 worth of credit left at gamestop. now i dont have any games to play though(except for my digital backlog)

I traded Legend of Zelda Twilight princess (Wii-U) for $40 + $6.75 for the Wolf link amiibo.

I only paid $3 dollars for this game a couple of days ago at Jet.com (price mistake) :D/

I also traded 7 additional games for a total of $203

this was done  with the 50% trade in bonus towards Uncharted 4

with the remainder trade-in credit I was able to get an ebay gift card without any issues.

this was a great day for me

Alright. Thanks to everyone for the answers this past weekend.
if you really want to convert to paypal, buy psn cards. they routinely sell $20 for $18 in the trading forums here. i assume its probably close to the same % for xbox/steam etc.

For anyone who's worried about returning their Doom or Uncharted , here's an idea for you. Exchange it towards another game and then return that at a later date. I'm not really sure why people are concerned in the first place. There's been plenty of console trade in promos that people have abused by returning the new system. Returning a 300-400$ item would cause way more of a red flag than a 60$ game.

Only if they don't say "well you did the trade in bonus, we can't" (bs bs bs). I do want another game (for the xbox one) but I also want to use my 20% off if they have it preowned and any reward certificates.

Made $140 profit + 2 Doom games. I gotta sell the Doom games now because the GS cashiers are weird about returns on trades, and they wouldn't give me a gift receipt when I made my initial trade-in/purchase.

So I'm finally done. I only have to return one game. It's really helpful if you are exchanging it for something else. I have to wait to buy back all my games to see the real profit but it is somewhere between $300-$400. I'm hoping an eBay bucks promotion is in our near future  :D/

Special thanks to Blackbeard and everyone else in this thread who pointed out flips. It's also nice to have digital codes from Just Cause and Siege. They will look great in my digital backlog I'll never play!

This dude asked me to sign for the trade and I told him I'd also like to purchase uncharted to get a bonus and he looked at the ceiling not saying anything. I wanted to make sure I get the bonus first before signing lol. Then I asked for a gift receipt and he didn't seem happy about that and didn't say anything. Probably a manager/jr. detective.

I've done numerous trades over my lifetime here all over in New York State, so asking to see ID and sign off on the trade... But today was the first time they took an actual picture of my ID on top of the stack of games I traded in.

This some new thing now in NYS? I'm not worried, but just curious.

Stores around the Indianapolis area ask for ID but also require a picture and thumb print. So its not something really new.

Had to stop at just under $1600.  Spent $600 in BB credit and did all of the noteworthy boomerangs (across 2 BB and GS accounts). Had $400 in amiibo/Superchargers/Infinity flips from early May (before they dropped the values) or I would've pushed it a little more.  I'm pretty sure the limit is $2k before the 90-Day Ban kicks in (at least that's what I remember from Flipapalooza when I was banned last time for doing $2k in a week).  We'll know for sure this time, as I definitely went over $1500 for the 30 day period but stayed under $2k to test the theory.  I'll let you know if I'm banned once June rolls around and I do a small test trade at an out of the way GS.

Gotta love it when the BB sale/GS Bump/GS promo stars align!

Ended up donating a $1 for each of the 4 trades I did today to St. Judes.  First trade in that I did the guy said it is triple points for the transaction with a donation.  Even if he had false information, I made enough that the donation felt right.

Edit: Looks like it is triple points with a St. Jude donation from May 27-June 30.  Just unsure if it is on the donated part or the whole transaction.

It's just the donated part.

Those with multiple GS accounts - do you still apply the credit on the same gift card? Or do you use multiple gift cards.
My main account, I put all of the credit on that card until it reaches the $1k limit then use trade cards for the rest. My side account, I always get trade cards and don't keep anything on the actual account card.

I used to put it on my PUR card but I've now opted to just keep it on a trade card. Having everything pooled onto one card is convenient for me.

I don't know if the generic black card makes it not as noticeable but I've been stopped from buying gift cards with the silver PUR card but never with the generic trade credit card.

I need to make an extra bb gcu and gs pro account but what info exactly should I change? And I have to sign up for both instore?
I changed phone number and address for my second PUR Pro account (I put my parent's address but it's not important). No problems so far.

If you need a different phone number you can always create a Google Voice number.

I feel like its better to have trade credit on a Trade Card than your PUR card. I know some people have reported before there PUR cards getting wiped after a Ban.

I forget gamestop close early today. I need to trade in games instead of doing boomerang and return doom. :( the assiocate acted so surprise and said loudly of my points. They were even more surprise that i got extra credit when they scanned the uncharted 4(maybe im the first one to do the bonus trade in). Last thing they said was how i take good care of my game(fk ya they are all brand new).

Had to sit out today and take care of my children. I'm jealous of all of you. ;)

I usually take my 4 and 6 year old and my wife takes care of the baby but not today.

Good stuff being a parent. I have a 6yr old boy and a baby girl due in June.I made good money but not $1500 good. Not enough GameStop and Best Buys to do it

Thanks BlackBeard for your spreadsheets! I took it easy today and used it to do about 20 $4+ boomerangs so I could justify taking a loss on trading in my doom/uncharted's instead of returning them. I still have 2 left, but I will exchange one for Mirror's Edge next week and something else (no man's sky or Lego Star Wars) later in the month.

Does the donate button on the spreadsheet really give money to you? I might throw some your way for all your help. Much appreciated!

No Man's Sky has been delayed sadly.

So I got $180 from my 3 games and 3 controllers and picked up Uncharted 4, but when I asked for a gift receipt, the cashier said it was only for holidays, which is obviously wrong. I'll probably wait a few days before going to another GameStop just for the hassle.

Now if GameStop decides to do another 50% bonus tomorrow, i'll decide to pick up the Story Mode discs for the fuck of it

Yeah, I feel like that's a rarity though and usually there's other nefarious activity associated with the account. I don't have excessive returns, buy PUR coupons, trade in more than 4 of an item, etc. and these large quantity trade amounts are few and far between. I guess you're right though that I could eliminate the risk altogether by just having trade cards and the only reason that I really don't is out of laziness/convenience. I'm not overly concerned though.
