Yeah, I did the same. Forgot about it while waiting for 2 hours at/around Best Buy for an in-store pickup order that they never even fulfilled. I forgot all kinds of stuff yesterday. This doesn't bother me that much though, since there aren't really games I would actually want, and I don't have a real need or want to flip a bunch of shit in the near-future, since I have a bunch of credit there already.

 
Question!
I have the $20 off a $59.99+ Xbox One game active offer on my account from the gears promotion earlier. It doesn't specify it can't be applied to digital purchases or digital pre-orders. Can anyone confirm if it can work on either of those?

not a bad day yesterday. redeemed 44000 points for $110 worth of pre-owned coupons, and got RotTR and BF1 for free. The dude was cool enough to scan all 8 coupons in 2 separate transactions.

Are any of you guys mingling your "significant other's" account certificates with your account certificates?

I'm asking for a friend of mine, you see...

 
Went and got a used copy of CoD IW Legacy with $50 in certificates only to get back to work and notice its not the legacy edition, but the regular. How hard is this return going to be? Do you get your reward certificates back?

I'd try and call immediately to speak to the associate that helped you. Their inventory should reflect the mistake. As long as that goes smoothly, I'd imagine they'd just swap the discs out without having to put anything through the computer.

They made the comment when I was there it was the only used version they had. Came in a generic box, I have a feeling somebody traded it in and just told the person working that it was legacy.

FWIW, I hated the briefcase version. It's not a very good take-it-and-go-for-a-quick-play thing. It's more for dorm rooms with a slightly more permanent setup. It's a hassle to setup and putaway, because you can't close it without disconnecting everything. And it uses two outlet spots.

 
I noticed StubHub at GS and would like to pick up tickets as a gift. I also noticed they've got them available at the website. Has anyone tried these with trade in credit?

Yes I paid the extra $20ish.


Called the store I bought it from he has no new or used copies of the legacy edition. Said I either have to come up and exchange it for another game. I can't get my reward certificates back. He did say I could go to any store and do this. Get to a store that has the legacy edition in stock and they tell me they can't do an exchange because it's an inventory issue since it's the wrong game that I have to go to the store I bought it from. This is fun.

Nah, hes just trying to cover his ass. Write a bad review on your receipt and you'll get taken care of by the DM that responds.

You should've called the original store while at the new store. Or have the original store call for you and tell them the situation before you make the drive

Buy the legacy edition from the store that has it in stock and return it to the one that doesn't have any but is willing to do the exchange.
 
For anyone that purchased the overwatch collectors edition and used the Cyber Monday certs, did you get the ps4 version? I tried with the x1 and they didn't take.
 
Just paid $2.91 for Pokemon Sun after my $25 and $10 certs. Cashier says, "wow, I bet you're the only guy in the country that paid $3 for Pokemon."

Well I got ALOT more money back when I returned an online purchase. But some of my games JUST shipped when I bought them during the beginning of the Best Buy extra 50% trade in promotion...

FYI you can still get the King's Tale DLC when you buy FF XV. The code sells for $30+ on eBay. Technically, you can just return the game after that.

 
dunno if it'll help anyone but i had picked up the ps4 pro with destiny bundle .. the receipt showed the prorated amount for destiny as 44 something .. headed to gamestop and they let me exchange the game for final fantasy 15 :D but had to pay the 15 dollar difference .. much better deal than destiny :p... so i am assuming you can choose any game.

I did it with the XBO one yesterday and it worked fine. $24.01 after tax and coupons.

Make sure the sku starts with 130. If it's the original shipment it might not work.

Nope! There was a used copy of Sun near me so I snagged that with the coupons as well. High five! Also cashed out the rest of my points to get DQ7 and Trails of Cold Steel 2. Can't really complain about getting those three games for the equivalent of less than $50.

 
$44 for Destiny with the PS4 Pro bundle sounds solid. I remember reading some reporting that the game was zeroed out while at the store which would make it's refund value zero. You must have bought the bundle online? 

Side note: Bought FFXV for the PS4 before closing; it indeed did come with the FF King's Tales code on the receipt. Not sure if it's going to continue tomorrow as I read it was supposed to be for pre orders only as stated earlier. Got a nice little bonus, clerk let me keep the free game from a B2G1 transaction last week when I was returning all 3 games. Suggested I trade in the game on the spot towards FF XV.
