saw a couple new discounts through my nintendo

Super Mario World (New 3DS) - 20% off 160 Platinum points

Yoshi Island Super Mario Advance 3 (Wii U) - 30% off 20 Gold points

Bah, looks like the Mario Kart Switch system bundle is Russia only. :(  Nintendo has some nerve charging full price for the game separately when it's basically a rehash of game they gave away for free included with my WIi U.

Here's another shocker for you, by years end, they'll also be charging you to play that same game online, when it was free in the past. The future just gets better and better at "N". LOL

I had no idea Bye-Bye Boxboy was a thing... I loved the first game so I need to get these last two games. It's good the system still has some pretty solid support through this year even though not much new was announced. I expect we'll probably get DQ11 as one of the last games for the system and probably early next year with 2018 being the last year of the 3DS. Maybe they'll release the Switch version at the same time.

The Switch stuff was pretty nice. I had no idea Payday 2 was coming. Same for SIne Mora EX. I'm glad we are getting more demos of stuff to check out and it looks like between now and Mario there are quite a few solid distractions.

For those interested, Cave Story+ is now up on Amazon for preordering. I locked my order in over there last night. Also for some reason Puyo Puyo Tetris dropped to $29.99 on the Switch (same as the other platforms) and then either sold out or they halted preorders. I plan to try the demo out first, but at $30 before the prime discount that'll be an easy purchase if I like the game. Hopefully when they turn back on preorders I'll be able to lock a copy in at that price.

You are late to the story, the paid online service has been a known factor since before the Switch launched. It's not news. It's not shocking. It's not even shocking you'd take the time to write out such nonsense.

I'm sure PS4 gamers that had PS3's were bothered about having to pay to play GTAV online after getting to play the online side for free on PS3. Then Sony goes and jacks up the price to $60 to match Microsoft. But even then it wasn't shocking that the PS4 would require a PS+ subscription to play online because that was known before the system launched. Same as the Switch, just without the 9? months of free online to ease people into the idea.

It was a joke, as was indicated by the "LOL" at the end, holy shit, some of you guys need to lighting the fuck up. It was also directed to the person I quoted, and not some random ***hole who needs to chime in with his 2 cents on any ones opinion or comments they don't agree with.

It was a sarcastic response to Super Sonic, who's post I also thought was sarcastic in the fact that he stated "N" was charging full price for a game that was offered free in the past, as "N" does that 99% of the time, so I don't think he was really surprised by it. And that was the point of my statement as well.

Yes, everyone knows they are charging for online at years end. Everyone also knows they are going to charge customers again, and again, for the same games when at all possible. So his comments and mine should be of no surprise, that's why I put the LOL at the end, in response to my own laughter on the comment.

The same way I'm going to respond to you when once again, your starting something when there was no ill will to begin with. If you would like me to comment on how the paid online will probably suck, or how it will be terrible, I can more than add that as well if you really need something to comment about. I've also commented in several of these "N" areas how impressed I am with their region free offering of the NS, and how each time it's shown, I'm more impressed each time, and utterly shocked by how well they did. Yet I'll never hear anything when that's mention, as it's kissing "N" ass, so all is good. The minute something is mention in jest or otherwise that may be in the negative, it puts some of you guys on high alert, and for what?

EDIT: Yes, another wall of text, so those who don't like to read, just don't bother. As it's the same shit, just a different day!

I mean this with all due respect, but even when I agree with you, it just gets... old, seeing you chime in at every opportunity to complain about "N."
Well, in all due respect, seeing the HUGE circle jerk of "N" gets old as well(in my opinion). Like I said, I've made tons of positive comments as well, those are never brought up, the ones not kissing ass are, so it is what it is.

I've said it hundreds of times before, my account can be blocked, or so it has been explained(as I've never looked in to it myself), so if all my opinions are useless, off topic, and in the negative, why do the same people continue to read & comment on what what they deem offensive or flat out dislike? Those people will never block me, and you know why, because they want to start shit, PERIOD! If I don't agree with someone, I'm the enemy, and must be shunned and ridiculed. Like I've said, nothing but bullies around here.

The same way your stating my actions get old, I find the comments from the same group of twats to get just as old, and considering this is an open forum, and I'm not going anywhere, I would personally recommend a different plan of attack for those who find my comments as "getting old". If I came here and said the sky is blue, some one would take issue with it, my comments aren't so much the issue as the ones who personally don't like me one way or another, and look to start shit at every possible turn.

Is informing someone that paid online is coming a crime? Was it stated it was bad, or wouldn't work, or would not be worth the money? What did I say that was so wrong? My comments can be good, bad or ugly, it doesn't matter, the same group will have issues every time, and as long as they want to comment, I'm going to comment right back. So hit the ignore button, or continue the current course.

Some try to start arguments, but I think most people are trying to back up their opinion with evidence. So I don't think everyone is trying to get under your skin. You are entitled to your opinion, and this is an open forum so post away, its well within your right to be a part of this community. I usually disagree with 90% of what you say, but still value having you here to see the other side of what people think.

I think what others are trying to get at is that your participation isn't what they don't like, its that it appears as if (whether you intend to or not) to take every opportunity to bash Nintendo, that the majority of what you say is criticism. Considering you post more often and with greater length than most, it can seem as if you are just here to be critical instead of adding to the conversation.

I agree that if people find you annoying or don't feel like reading your posts to just block you. How hard is it to just keep scrolling and let people have an opinion? (Apparently more difficult for some) I can maintain that Nintendo is doing well and justify it with amiibo sales, switch gaining popularity, and app income, you can have the opinion that the hardware is faulty, the roll out was bad, and all platforms need some major first and third party titles and we are both correct.

Keep posting, ignore those who can't handle other opinions. I think everyone should think through responses to see if its constructive criticism or just straight bashing of others or a company. And even if someone does, just keep scrolling, its just an opinion...

On topic, I didn't even know Excave III was a thing.

Some new My Nintendo rewards:

:3ds: Yoshi Siesta 3DS Theme - 20 Gold Points - Ends 7/13

:3ds: Super Mario World 20% discount ($6.39) - SNES - 160 Silver Points - New 3DS Only - Ends 7/13

:wiiu: Yoshi's Island: Super Mario Advance 3 30% discount ($5.59) - GBA - 20 Gold Points - Ends 7/13

:3ds: Complete Access Animal Crossing: New Leaf Prima Official Game Guide - 30 Gold Points - Ends 10/13

:wiiu: Complete Access The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker HD Prima Official Game Guide - 30 Gold Points - Ends 10/13
How do you determine when the reward/discount end? When looking at the Super Mario World reward page, the fine print at the bottom states that the discount is valid thru August 12 (8/12). It's not clear whether that date is when the reward leaves MyNintendo, the discount from the reward is available until, or both. I always assumed that's when the reward itself becomes unavailable, and the discount then has an arbitrary amount of time from purchase (like a month or so) to be redeemed (which could put it past the valid thru date).

So hit the ignore button, or continue the current course.
I mainly was hoping you'd reflect on what you are posting, didn't want to rile you up and put you on the defensive. You are getting as bad about Nintendo as I have been in the past about LRG.

I actually like to read some of your posts (like the one recently about your preference for batteries over built in battery packs) and have had some really decent quality conversations with you which is the only reason I care to comment back. Sometimes you need friends to say "hold on" so you can see where maybe you're going a bit too far with something. This is the eshop deals thread.

It says on the page...

"Reward info

Reward available until:
7/13/2017 at 1 AM [America/Chicago]"

Once you actually redeem for the reward it has a separate expiration date on the coupon which comes from that fine print...

"This discount is valid through 11:59 p.m. PT, August 12, 2017"

I wasn't super impressed personally with the games but unbelievably impressed Nintendo has already convinced that many 3rd party devs to port They still aren't going to approach the volume of monthly releases of Sony or even MS but I'll buy the Switch version of indie stuff (like Snake Pass) for portability when the visual differences are so minimal.

I don't determine anything. They put an expiration date and discounts tend to end 30 days after the expiration date. It's always a good idea to read the fine print for any MyNintendo rewards to be sure about what you're getting.

Just looked on the page again, can't see that. Searched on "Reward available until", "7/13/2017". Still nothing. Why I asked was because sometime earlier someone mentioned a date that seemed like a month short of what info I could find and I don't want to miss out on a reward because of my stupidity lack of adequate information.

Graphic that I'm blind to? Ad-block?

7/13/2017 at 2 AM [America/New York]
and near the bottom:

This discount may not be combined with any other offers. Nintendo discounts are void where prohibited, have no cash value, and may be canceled at any time. Please review the My Nintendo Rewards Program Terms of Service for additional conditions. Please visit the My Nintendo FAQ for more information about how to use this discount.

I knew from previous discount coupons I got had I time period to redeem, wasn't quite sure on time period but a month seemed correct. I was just confused because the only date I see mentions the discount and not the reward redemption. Just trying to make sure I don't lose out on the ones I am considering because of my own ignorance.

Edit: Using Chrome, just turned off Ad-Block on the site - still don't see it, search on the page shows no hits. My guess is I am blind.

First you need to be looking at a reward for a discount; other rewards that offer a direct download code or something wouldn't have two expiration dates. So the first date is right there in the Reward Info, and the second date in on gray text in a gray box.

Anyone else playing this Team Kirby Clash Deluxe thing? It's not bad, although it lacks variety and is a bit grindy. Threw $.50 at the game today for gem apples.

Game only feature local wireless play. No online. Seems to have fairly large single player quest which will have you grinding for gear, gem apples, and heroic missions for a long time.

Puyo Puyo Tetris is back up on Amazon for $39, but oddly enough Nintnedo has it listed as $29 (http://www.nintendo.com/games/detail/puyo-puyo-tetris-switch) last time I checked.

cost of upgrades is it like pokemon world
Yeah, it is similar. There are some introductory specials that cost about $.50 and $.90, which give you gem apples. You need gem apples to unlock new areas, buy equipment, and to buy special upgrades. Gem apples can let your stamina recover faster (the timer which recovers and allows you to play again), and gem apples let you find resources faster.

You definitely hit a grind sometime by level 9 or 10, as you replay missions for resources. Different days of the week have different bonuses. One day you find more light fragments, one day you find more blue or red fragments. Also, you can connect online for free once per day to get some heroes which may be stronger than your level to make clearing quests easier and to complete some heroic missions.

I've played the game a few hours and can see myself sticking with it for a little while, at least.

Also, you can connect online for free once per day to get some heroes which may be stronger than your level to make clearing quests easier and to complete some heroic missions.

I've played the game a few hours and can see myself sticking with it for a little while, at least.
yea got this last night along with the tetris switch demo.. played it about hour.... wonder if the refills ever go higher then 2 apples... sucks you need apples to buy items as well like swords and stuff

i doubt i put much cash into the game

i did the 200 for 1.69 and pushed the vigor up to every 3 mins ..... next step is 1 every min but cost 300 apples. cost i think 140 (40 for the 2nd step 100 for the 3rd step)

even buyig 200 apples it only pushed the tree from 5 apples to 8 every 12 hours
