I actually had the exact opposite problem, as my recently-purchased PSVR is set up in my theater room, which has a projector and all the electronic equipment is in a separate room next to the theater room. I had to buy an extension cable for the PS4 Camera (rare and hard to find, since Sony never released one themselves), and I used an old USB extension cable I had lying around from the PS3 Eye Camera days to extend the length of the USB cable that has to run between the PS4 and the PSVR processor box.

Though finding shorter cables should be easy- any USB and HDMI cable that is shorter than the ones included with PSVR should work.

I've had those problems as well when I put my consoles in the tech cabinet. Now my consoles will be right behind my TV and the PSVR will be right next to the PS4 so there would be excess cable length

I feel like "shadows die twice" is definitely an overt reference to Shadow Tower, the PS1/PS2 series that fit in the Souls lineage between King's Field and Demon Souls. So broadly speaking another entry in the Souls lineage, is my guess.

Edit: Apparently most people in the Souls community think this is a reach, when I first watched it, it was the very first thing I thought of and I honestly thought it was an overt reference, not something cryptic. But if no one else felt the same way, I suppose it was not so overt as I thought. I've seen people taking from the Eastern inspired bits that perhaps it's a new Tenchu or something along those lines. Personally I'm hoping it's a brand new IP spiritually within the Souls aesthetic, but with very new gameplay mechanics.

Use it before you buy shorter cables, you need some distance between yourself and the camera for it to track you properly, plus the more space you have the more room you have to move.

Is the division season pass worth it? i have the game, but never finished the campaign (enjoyed what i played just derailed by other games). i’m considering playing it more soon. (will mostly play solo)

Well your explanation makes way more sense to me than bloodborne 2. It could be a new IP but the whole “twice” word implies a sequel. But shadows have nothing to do with bloodborne. If it was a bloodborne sequel I would expect a reference to blood or hunting or even nightmares. Something from that world at least.

You can play the MH world beta now fyi. Worth pointing out to anyone who has played MH before this seems to be the build they've been taking to conventions and stuff so the difficulty is scaled down. Everything is really easy, but that's probably the intent I imagine since they're expecting lots of newcomers.

There's a variety of quests to complete for PSX stuff that is live now. It's mostly themes and avatars, but there are a few in-game items for free to play games like Trove, Dreadnought, and that Orcs Must Die game. There's a Limited Edition God of War theme down on the list, so you should probably do that first.

really weird, a couple codes ive gotten from the PSX thing have been invalid, some quests say prize claimed even though i didnt even finish the quests. i got the couple of dynamic themes, so i dont really care about the rest enough to take the chance they wont work.

The Flipping Death quest gets you a free copy of Zombie Vikings for the first 4000 people to complete it.

The Guacamelee 2 quest gets you a code for the Frenemies DLC.
