Well, they only need 99,999 more, because I pre-ordered a couple weeks ago.

I'm eyeballing the South Park: TFBW Season Pass and the AC: Origins Season Pass...

Both "decent" discounts, but I have no bing money at the moment. So I would have to spend my actual human money...

I dont like that at all.

Too damn bad that I cant convert my 1200 Microsoft Reward Gems to 20,000 MS reward points because that item is "sold out" at the vault. Instead, they'll be converted to 1200 MS reward points automatically. Really disappointed in that. I would have cashed these out long ago if I knew the vault rewards would "sell out" and my gems would be converted to next-to-nothing.

I'm sure it will never happen but the absolute coolest BC announcement would be making the Xbox backwords compatible with the Dreamcast - which was basically the prototype for the original Xbox.
 
i really don't like the mixer app. can i just watch it live on youtube? i mean...i'll try mixer again to see if it's more stable but if i have problems, I'd rather switch over to youtube.

uh they just said everyone who sends them an xbox video clip will get a code for hellblade. they must have misspoke and meant anyone whose clip gets shown during the inside xbox broadcast.

Great day for BC. I already have Jade Empire, Morrowind, KoTOR and Battlefront 2, plus Sonic Generations. Any recommendations out of the less well know games? I don't know anything about Breakdown or the military games.

Some of these games are still going for like $30 physically. A $10 or $15 price will be great for Panzer Dragoon Orta or Battlefront 2. I might try and check out Hunter and Mercenaries, and try to find more of the Star Wars games.

It's also good to hear a bit more about the behind the scenes stuff, like hearing about the rights negotiation, and specifically that it's Disney that has complete control over the Star Wars games, with no mention of EA.

 
They said one group will become b/c on the 17th and the other group the next week. I dunno when the x enhanced stuff shows up.

 
While there are some PC versions of games which already run their 360 counterparts at high resolutions (Morrowind, for example, has been modded to hell and back) but for games that are trapped on consoles (Halo 3, RDR, Crackdown) the X enhancements are really fucking cool, and I don't even have an X.

Very happy to see Sonic Generations show up, and all those Star Wars games. Wayyy more than the 5 newly listed games suggested last night.

I don't think anything this meme suggests is actually true. They're aiming at Nazi, racism, sexism, homophobia, and other disgusting shit like that that has been allowed to fester on Xbox Live for far too long before everybody just stopped participating in public voice chat altogether, not generic trash talk. I don't believe the hyperbole from the law student that's quoted.

Nope. They even had a pretty dramatic shutting down of the OG Xbox Live services many years ago, b/c the OG infrastructure was holding back updates to the 360 (like friend limits, which was capped at 100 at one time). All OG servers on XBL have been offline for many years, a publisher would have to update the game to support or otherwise emulate online functionality, which isn't inconceivable, but is extremely unlikely.
