I saw the movie at an absurd angle Saturday night (second row, far right) so I'm going for another viewing in a better position tomorrow.

This was the reaction of everyone in the theater. My buddy turns to me after the movie and said, "Geez, normally there's clapping at the end of a movie." Nothing but silence.

I think EVERY account got downgraded to the no repeat viewings, and I think only NEW accounts are limited to four movies per month.

And I think probably EVERY account will now have to submit a picture of the movie ticket, but I'm not 100% on that.

After Superman's death and return in the 90s, there are no surprises anymore. Steve Rogers was also killed, they brought him back. Kinda takes some of the fun out of it, but IW is so much fun to watch and well-cast that I don't care.

Back in the day, there was a hard fast rule in comics that three deaths would remain permanent: Uncle Ben, Bucky, and Jason. Now only one of those is true. Shows that even in comics, the most powerful of deaths don't last forever.

They aren't downgrading anyone's number of movies per month (yet). Whenever they've altered the deal so far it's just affected new customers, though the no repeats is the first wide-spread change. I guess they didn't want to burn too much good will too soon or I would have thought this change would have made more sense back when Last Jedi came out.

It seems like the best case scenario is costumes for multiplayer. The story seems like it will be at least vaguely connected to RDR1 because of Dutch's presence so I don't think they'd want to connect it to Revolver as well. I would say the full characters will be an option for MP again but after GTA Online I'm sure it'll have custom characters so there is more stuff to get people to spend money on Shark Bonds or whatever they call the currency microtransaction.

 
I appreciate the spoiler tags/discussions, too.  I'm not a huge fan of those movies.  I watch Spiderman and the Iron Man movies, but that's it.  The other ones don't interest me.  I did see the previous Avengers movies, but only because of Spidey and Iron Man.  I was debating about watching IW, but everything that people have hinted at just tells me I'll wait til next summer, so thanks for saving me the time and money!  :)

They’re not doing us any favors but probably are helping themselves not paying for duplicate viewings.

I don’t see many movies twice so as long as they keep it alive I’m still good with it. Unfortunately, even with the move to reduce to 4 movies a month for new people, I have a feeling it still isn’t going to survive.

Yeah, I'm sure they'll be skins in mp, but it would be cool if they just made an appearance, not necessarily a main story moment, but they end in a game of poker with the main character or they both end up in a prison cell together and break out, etc. Just a little nod.

Like to see it, gives me some hope we might see Nioh, still doubtful on Persona 5 but Phil did say last week that JRPG's are represented at E3.

 
Nier Automata is fantastic. I absolutely would double dip on that on Xbox One, especially it it gets X enhanced.

This old article seems to support the game could come to :xb1:, but I think the article was written before the game released and a lot can change in that amount of time.

But this other old article seems to directly conflict with the first article, so whatever.

 
I didnt really follow if this is the case or not, but that article on jeuxvideo.com was saying that there wasnt an exclusivity deal for Nier on PS4 so it could be possible.

From what I understand jeuxvideo.com is a pretty big site with a reliable track record, so fingers crossed. Hope we get some other Japanese games, exclusive or otherwise, announced at E3.

I've been waiting on Nier, would buy on Xbox right away (aka first sale).

Jumping in on Fortnite, got my first win on around match 15, first match with squads. Big showdown at the end, I flanked and got the final shot. I'll need some friends to play with to satisfy some challenges.
 
So anyone think there is a possibility of Xbox announcing VR at e3?

I remember it being a prediction but I noticed many outlets not bringing it up anymore. Did they give up on the idea?
 
If nier Automata came to Xbox one, I'd seriously consider a day one purchase. I picked up the first one not really sure what I was getting into, played it quite a bit and beat the 4 different endings. It needs to be made bc for sure.

I predict no... if I was a betting man, I would say they got burned to much on Kinect and Kinect 2.0 and they won't do a gimmick this year, focus on games and not on more hardware.

Plus Microsoft as a company is working on that VR/AR headset already, so maybe if that catches on they will make it work with Xbox?

I think a VR device from them this year when ppl see there game catalog as lacking would get a lot of eye rolls and a lot of "what are you doing!!" They have to knock it out of the park with games this year that are not 3rd party multi-platform.

Turned my 1500 gems into 30,000 points.

That's over 30 dollars in credit. If I had let them be converted without this exchange, they would have converted to only 1500 points; ie $2.50 in credit.

In other news, I would buy Nier: Automata day one without hesitation if it came to Xbox One.

 
I only had enough for $5 left. I'm close to another one so hopefully some gems show up randomly while the site is still up.

It seems like it would be awfully late for this gen, maybe not until the Xbox Two.

 
Yeah, I keep getting the error too. Has anyone had luck in the last 15 minutes? Thought everyone would be out on a Friday night instead of trying to redeem for Xbox credit.

I think they will wait and see another couple years, they have moved to their own VR platform on PC with Windows Mixed Reality headsets, and I honestly don't think the OG Xbox One could run VR well enough. I love my Oculus and have thought about nabbing a Windows headset just to get the achievements in the Xbox Live compatible titles on Windows 10. I'm sick.

 
Switched Chrome, Firefox, and then Edge, just the endless loop then the "Hmmm something went wrong" I'm sure it's all gone but I'll check back later. 

 
Is the credit e-mailed to you, and if so, how long did it take? I redeemed for $10 credit and the page kept spinning, so I refreshed it and found my Gems deducted. Hopefully I didn't lose my Gems.

The credit shows up in your Xbox Live Rewards Points Balance and is then converted to MS Currency directly into your account at the next deposit date.
