This thread will attempt to provide a place to discuss past/present/future PC gaming deals. While mainly focusing on Steam games, any standout sales may also be presented. I will not be updating every Daily/Weekly/etc. sale. The tools to help individuals become a smarter shopper will be provided below.

See this POST for links to store sale pages, threads of interest and other tools to help you become a more informed PC game shopper.

Agents of Mayhem is not decent. Good deal on Wreckfest I might jump on that as its the best price I've seen in forever.

Edit: or not. I get your payment has been rejected due to security something or another when I try paypal or amazon. Never used amazon with them so it shouldn't be an issue at all... removed and added paypal info again and its not working that way either.
By decent I meant games that can't be found cheaper elsewhere, not game quality. D2Ds sales are crap other than those 2 games. I'm surprised I even found those 2 tbh. I've never seen decent deals on their site before

Thanks FedEx.

So I ended up picking up a few games for me and a friend across Black Friday

2 copies of fallout 76 for $35 ea (GMG) (might not be great but was wanting to play.
Fallout new Vegas $5.29 (CD keys) gift for friend

Crash insane $28 after tax (steam)
Halo spart bundle $2.71 after tax (steam)
Misc missing borderlands dlc $7 (steam)
Home front freedom $5.39 (fanatical)
Men of war 2 delux, Oblivion and marrowind $20

I'm sure I could have waited out some of these and got better deals but I didn't really care too much.

Yeah, that's definitely on the shippers fault.  One look into the box and it looks like some shitty packaging.  Should have double boxed it.  He pulled a CheapyD.

I understand what people are talking about when they say you "have to get your vr legs" now. Oof.

Edit: If you decide to try VR, start with something that isn't Resident Evil 7. Just saying.
Who stands up playing VR? Just sit in a comfy chair in the middle of the room and spin around. Standing is for peasants :p

yup yup, that's what happens when you ship stuff in the original manufacturer's box with no outer box or padding for a protective layer.  The seller offered me a partial refund of $30 lol.   It's like uhh no you can pay 40 bucks or whatever it costs to ship your busted case back to you if you'd like.

I don't know anything about that, but if any Madden PC CAGs wanted to try to do a league I'd be down with that. Can
That'd be a cool idea if we could do a league and had enough players. We could even make our rules like no extra pack buying (stuck with whatever you earn) or have to pick a team and can only use that team's players... not sure how Madden does throwbacks and how easy they are to get though.

In the Show you could easily earn throwback players through missions and such and there were a lot of them, so being limited to just using Reds players for example would be easy. I know Madden has historical players but not sure how many. Might be kind of cool if we had limited players and you were limited to a division or something to build.

Maybe (definitely) I'm weird but I've found that if I have a box fan blowing on me it makes playing games in VR much more palatable. Something about the cool air helps me stay calm when I want to have bouts of claustrophobia.

Ok Thumper is a cool game.  It is trippy as hell without VR, with... well I need to get used to the VR before I try that.

Sigh, I've played a lot of Desitny over the years but have been waiting to buy Forsaken in protest of Activision's ridiculous pricing for the Y2 content. Sad that a random markdown at the egg is the best it has gotten. Hoping, perhaps unrealistically, for an annual pass bundle sub $50 a month from now.
Yes, in the past Destiny dlc has been $30-$40 for a year of updates, which I considered to be quality and worthwhile.

The problem with Forsaken, even though I hear the content is good, is that not only did they release a year 2 $40 expansion.. but they then added a $35 season pass on top of it (bad move, Activision). You will be cut off from the newest content if you don't have the annual pass starting Dec 2.

As a cag it's really hard to drop down 70$ to "purchase" additional content when it's going to be given away cheap or free a matter of months from now when they're trying to push the next newest dlc. At this point I'd be happier if they just cut out shady dlc marketing and just made it sub based.

I'm running a class action against Steam, Origin, Uplay, and every digital storefront for steam keys and bundles as their predatory practices of offering cheap games, deals, and bundles is meant to purposely prey on what we in the industry call "hoarder whales."  They sell these "hoarder whales" more games than any one person could play in their lifetime knowing that these "hoarder whales" have a compulsion either to hoard these games or get in on the "deal" because the rush of the deal gives them the same rush as a drug, sex, or gambling addict might get.  Right now I'm offering one Hot Random Key to anyone who wants to join the class action.

This "hoarder whale" is on board.

I didn't buy a single thing in the Autumn Sale, not even a couple random $0.49 cent games.

Am I turning into a Mooby?
Depends. Did you spend half your paycheck on 50 loot crates in hopes of getting your 8th rare bikini skin for Jaina Proudmoore?

It posted on the first attempt!  The new build is complete.
Bought Windows 10 from some Ebay guy for $3.50 and installed it via thumbstick.  Was able to flash the motherboard bios via USB and it recognized the processor with no problems (the z370 boards need to be updated in order to recognize a 9th gen Intel cpu).  It only took me about 1.5 hours during MNF last night to assemble everything.  I'm lucky that there were no hardware issues or broken components since I've been slowly buying parts during the last three months.  I really don't know much about building but everything went smoothly.  The interwebs have so much help for everything you need.

It only took me about 20min. this morning to hook up the Corsair RGB Fan LED hub and the Corsair Commander Pro to the three Light Loop fans.  The real bastard is the cable management. No idea what I'm going to do there.

2nd battlestation is fully operational.

I'm not really going to touch it until this arrives and I can do a fresh install of Windows 10 on the NVMe drive.  Couldn't pass this up once everything showed as working.  In hindsight, that was the one mistake; not having the M.2 drive first.
