Got the new turntable in and got a new entertainment stand to go along with it. (IKEA LAPPLAND for those wondering.) The only thing left now is a new set of speakers and some more albums. :)

It saddens me that nobody in this damn country knows that 'chink' has another meaning. Seriously, the tweet maybe could have been worded better, but it's not a big deal. The American public needs to get over themselves.

I finally convinced myself to buy a new turntable. Definitely wasn't cheap, but it looks like this is going to be a hobby I have for a while, so I might as well buy something that will last, right?

I'm no economist, but isn't this to be expected? China is a developing nation with over 4 times the population of the US. To me, it makes complete sense that their economy would eventually grow larger than ours.
