Neat, thanks. That makes more sense. I don't know why they were talking about it in the context of trading it for a new PS4, though. I guess the confusion arose when they changed the trade in value page, because previously it included the 30%.
Better go soon, the trade in value is dropping for the PS4 (not sure what the Xbone was before), but now it's only $203.84 ($265/1.3) for the PS4:

Some stores havent updated their prices yet, YMMV.
Yeah, I went in yesterday and they said they could only give me $140 total for two fat 360s (one with a 250GB HDD and one without). He said that I might as well just trade in the one without a HDD for $100 and that only slims can get the $250.
Mine said that it would come up as 20% off for each game, so I didn't push it. But then it was $39.99 for one and $23.99 for the other when I checked the receipt. TRU POS is p. stingy when it comes to deals so I'm assuming it wouldn't have worked if they tried.
I figure if they're that bad or can't be disabled, I'll pay the money to turn them off. If it's anything like the previous generations, you can just spoof the ads to whatever images you want. The same level of hackability regarding Kindlets would be nice too. :D
Pre-ordered the Kindle Paperwhite. Website said October 8 ETA, but order says October 2. Didn't want to think about it much longer if it meant waiting for a second shipment. Bought it with special offers, hope it's still easy to block/replace the ads or maybe they'll go back to having good deals...
