It's been about a year since I last posted but I had a pretty sweet find this past weekend so I figured I'd post it. I pull up to a yard sale and in the garbage the people have by the road I see a stack of issues of Nintendo Power that look pretty old. As I go to grab them the people say "oh...
I would go for it. You can easily sell your yellowed one for around $60 on Amazon. Then the games are worth the difference and if you sell the ones you already have copies of (if that's the case) you'll definitely make your money back.
Have you considered the possibility the seller picked up the item somewhere (thrift store, yard sale, etc.) not knowing it was a bootleg and thought they sold you a legit copy? You could have just told them you would pay to return it properly and expect a full refund plus the cost of your return...
I know what you mean. Just because something is listed Buy it Now on eBay for $100 doesn't mean it's actually worth that much. In my case I bought that about a month ago and sold it (on Amazon) a day later for $59.99, the lowest price at the time.
So I agree they aren't worth that much, but...
I thought it indicated the value in the sense that when I sell games it's primarily on Amazon, and that was a screenshot of the prices on Amazon at the time of my post. If you couldn't find things for a better price than the "going rate" often, this site wouldn't exist. ;)
Thank you! What in the world is going on with these trade in values? They were just giving out $21 in credit for NHL 12 right before 13 came out. I don't understand how it's used and new starting at $4 and trade-in credit is $21 disc only for Oddworld. Can anyone explain this?

Yeah I've seen you post stuff about the RI / Southern Mass area before. Figured we'd overlap sooner or later. I think you've beaten me to a few CL adds then posted them in the CL finds thread, lol. Were you at the Swansea Salvation Army on Tuesday by any chance? Had a funny interaction with a...
I keep doing well with one particular guy at the local flea. He prices his shit pretty fairly and is easy to haggle with.
Picked up a yellow game boy color. He has it in a case and I ask how much. He says $10. I ask if it has the battery cover and he says yes. Then takes it out and realizes it...
