Can someone confirm if BBV is still taking these at $5 a piece? There's a local store I know of with tons of quality 5/$10 DVD's, and I've got me a hankering for a PS3 if I can get one on the cheap.

It's actually both. You can trade in any 3 360, Wii or PS3 games, no exclusions OR 4 last gen games with a value of $9.99 or more. I'm in St. Catharines and I traded Fight Night, Burnout and NHL 2K7 for Lost Planet, no problems. :D

Is there a way to beat the system here? IE since EB uses the same cards for trade-in credit and gift cards, would they charge tax on purchases made with gift cards?

ummm. yes. why don't you go and investigate the completed auctions and see what you find before you post? look - if nobody's interested, that's fine. I was just trying to offer what I thought was a good deal here before I put it up on eBay for the price it seems to sell for. No harm, no...

I believe it was, however it seems to have become a pretty rare fine. They seem to go for around $100 +shipping on ebay, so I thought $80 shipping included was a pretty good deal, no?

I'm going to be trading my GC in later this week (I was lucky enough to get a Wii yesterday), so I'm going to be looking to get rid of my Gameboy Player. I'd rather know it was going to a good home, so I'd like to get rid of it here rather than ebay. $80 shipped to Canada or the US.

There's a shortage pretty much everywhere. I spent most of my day yesterday going from store to store. I eventually found one two towns out. I'd say try the online store at Nintendo.com, probably your best bet.

This is why I pre-ordered. No camping in line for me. :)
