Actually, this is true. The stick has a slight dead zone that affects handling somewhat.

All Hori HOTAS from the FS2 onward are based off the same components as the Saitek X-45 (Possibly made in the same factory even, the Hori rep only mentioned same parts). Unless you really like Ace Combat 6 or plan to use it for other 360 games, then do not even think of getting this for PC use...
