my problem with a wired headset is that I play in my theater room and the PS3 is in the rack located behind a curtain about 10' from my theater seats. ( the seats are commercial movie theater rockers bolted to the floor).

bluetooth headsets suck, I was wondering if anyone had any experience with wireless usb headsets? you know the ones that come with a usb dongle, my brother was going to get one ( there is one on sale at staples If I remember what he said) I would much prefer an over the head headset with a boom...
