I'm sure you've had a lot of people who have told you that they're thinking of you right now, and I'm included in that list.

As a fellow journalist (I work for a small daily newspaper north of Seattle), I truly feel your pain. Our newsroom has slowly shrunk by about 50 percent during the past couple of years as subscribers dwindle. It's not quite the same situation, but hearing about 1UP hit home with me.

Growing concern about layoffs have permeated the newsroom, and the survivors have been doing their best to stay focused despite the situation.

Anyway, I don't want to be a downer - it was nice to hear you on this week's CAGCast (finally) and hopefully you and the other 1UP-ers can land on your feet.

My only question is whether you will have to lose the beard if you have any job interviews ...
