If you decide to give them out, I'd love one. I played the original game a bit and liked it a lot, but I found that either there is a low learning curve or most players aren't very skilled. Not to brag, but I was topping the charts generally every game I was in and this made me lose interest...
I notice people on eBay are still selling Skyrim without the Steam key for ~$40. Is the game still worth anything even if you can't activate it? Why would someone still buy the game?
It seems like all of the indie games go into some kind of bundle these days, so what's the point of buying any unless you absolutely need to play it right away? Steam surely realizes this, so now they entice customers to buy games before they hit bundles by giving out prizes for achievements...
Is it possible to sell off the unused Steam key and keep the discs so that you can still play it without Steam, or is the game automatically linked to your Steam account, thus giving it no resale value if you own the retail copy?
