From the microsoft FAQ listed above: Do I need to put the Combo Breaker Pack disc in my Xbox One console to play the game? Yes, you’ll need to put the disc in to play any of the add-on characters.   Which would seem to indicate, to me, that you need the disc in the drive to play the characters...

The KI: Combo Breaker FAQ listed above does seem to say that you need the disc in the drive to play the game. Not sure where the idea you don't is coming from ... I wish it didn't, because I'd only buy this if it were a digital code.

At least I bought a couple games in the XB1 sale. The 4 Weeks of PSN Holiday Sales haven't even tempted me once.

Just checked my balance ... Citi did not give me the $25 statement credit despite placing the order before they introduced the limit of 4000. Going to call and cancel the card outright. Don't need to deal with crappy banks like this, and I have more than enough credit cards already.

Once I cancelled Amazon Prime last week, I went from not being eligible for this promo, to suddenly being eligible. Haven't bought a game through Amazon since I enrolled in Best Buy's Gamer's Club Unlocked, and even $10 back from $50 isn't going to make me suddenly want to use Amazon again. 

Damn, didn't notice this was a necro thread. Been looking for a deal on a LAN adapter what with Nintendo's borderline useless WiFi antenna and implementation. Lose connection all the time with the Wii U sitting 3 feet from the wireless router, and it's the only device that has problems.

Went to the City Target in SF. Wanted to buy Steam cards but they naturally didn't carry any. Settled for two $20 PSN cards. Had to get the checkout guy to check the flyer because it didn't ring up correctly.

I bought the emailed XBL code which was precisely $25, not $24.99 (which I think was for a physical mailed card). Haven't checked but hopefully it will work. Took a couple hours for Citi MasterCard to verify but once it did everything went through.

Thanks OP. Happened to have an old Citi Mastercard sitting on my desk that I'd forgotten about and never use anymore. Got the $25 Xbox code. Waiting on the email from Newegg.
